Wow sparky, wtg with that fantastic potting this week. Just £1.50 for me today, though tbh I'm pleased if ANY shrapnel hits the tin, its all good.
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Well the washing machine was making a mighty racket and did not sound happy at all! turned it off and Dh took the pump apart and pulled out 5 hair clips, 3 hairbands, A broken necklace, what looked like it was once a pipe grip and £4.51 in change  so the bin got fed with the rubbish and the pot got fed with the cash :D

Washing machine now back on and sounding much much happier though DH said i'd better start putting money aside for a new one as its now 8 years old and who knows how much longer it will live with the [STRIKE]carp[/STRIKE] treasures my lot seem to like to leave in their pockets :o

Just put £1.60 in my pot plus 3p in the coppers pot, left over from the bit of shooping I did today plus a few couins found on the bedroom floor :) . If only the lady at the till had given me change instead of a fiver and that would have gone in as well! As it is that's staying in my purse...

Hope everyone is having a good sunday xx

Hi sparky drove to nearest town and purchased cash tin whichis locked away in my suitcase. Bagged up money which I am going to bank tomorrow in my new savings account. Im living out of a suitcase really so nowhere else to put it.

After going through posts and what I had put by in December and january I edtimate my loss to be approx £100; not that anyone gives a monkey's here. I know my money is safe and everyone here has observed me throwing away my money tins so in their mind I have nothing here for them to look for.

    More sales,more sales :j:j
Had two items collected today:a toddler bed sold for £10,and MR,MRS and baby potato head bucket for £8.
So since Wednesday, have made £31 in sales to add to my pot.
Today I have given myself a very flat bottom by spending ALL AFTERNOON  sitting and listing items for sale on different sites/facebook pages

Well done for signing up (and doing) the moonwalk Rosy.
My plans are to get myself into remission, get fit and raise some money to say a huge thank you to Macmillan for all the support I have had throughout the last year. The advert where you see the man starting to fall and the nurse holds him up........really sums it up for me. They have been outstanding......so time to pay them back me thinks.
Thanks. I've lost too many friends to bc. But I've kept some too, and I'm so glad you're doing well.
I'm sure Macmillan will appreciate anything you can do when you're well enough. I held a cake sale at work on Friday and people were brilliant donating cakes and buying them, we raised over £100! I'm thinking of doing that regularly :)
