£5 for me today as I took lunch in from home :D

A brilliant way of saving so much so quickly, Meowhouse! :j

I'm so sorry to hear you've your back problem back again, little_sweetie, I just hope it'll soon get better or at least easier. Be careful! Sorry not to have noticed it before. Happy pancake day....today?!!!!

A good idea re the puffing savings, Lynne.

Your pot's at a lovely stage, braddy, I just love that muffled chink, music to my ears.

About time you poked your head round the door, mommyof4, more often would be lovely. :D

Another member saving on lunches then, Jellybaby, brilliant. Good to see you and all the best with the kitchen, hope it's not too bad.

    Very well saved, Anna!!

Bad luck for sure, Hope, but at least they're being sorted rather than you in a possible accident due to them!!!

Caz - if you're looking in, have a very Happy Birthday tomorrow!!! :bdaycake: I will too...piscean twin! :bdaycake: Rosy can have a bit...of yours not mine!

Have a lovely Wednesday, folk, and keep the saving up! :D

    Thanks Su

I know an injury or worse doesn't bear thinking about. Just had one thing after another with it since Xmas doesn't help when folk nag in ur "ud be better off buying a new one" but that's partly what got me into this mess. But....the way I see it now is that while the cost over a year is still cheaper than a year of car payments my wee CeCe is staying!

Money box holds my monthly 'me' budget and on a Sunday I am always home alone so can unearth locked suitcase that holds a lonesome tin and add money safely. Feels like I'm being sneaky but needs must. Also means less trips to the bank 10miles away (and I can have a rattle without people hearing hee hee).

Will keep reading on here and posting on a Sunday. Haven't banked the bags of money in my car yet; soon I hope and then I will update my signature.

    Happy potting everyone.

I have a kind of love/hate relationship with cars. They are great when going ok and a right bas**rd when not  We had to get another last year (see sig) when ours was failing because DH can't get to work without one, so take heart - it could have been worse ;)

    Pound potted :)
