    I've been Money Tipped!
    Afternoon all.

Just popped in to read and thank the posts.
May not be back on until 6th March, unless I get something to pot tomorrow.

    Today I've potted 4 x £1 coins = £4.
Feb has been a great potting month for myself and sad to see it end!!
March won't be as good as missing the 1st week and we're away for a few days at the end of the month. But, I'm in front and on target still for an average £100 p/m.
Sue, get ready to update my target to a GRAND soon. lol

    Please can I join?

I've never done any challenges before but love the idea.

I have 2 sealed pots at home, a giant picked egg jar that is for coppers and has about an inch layer, and a large mayo jar that is for everything else and is so far about 1/5 full.

No idea how much will be in there by the end of the year or if it will last till the end of the year and I'll have to create a new jar.

It looks to have between £10 and £15 in it at the moment, so I think I'll aim for £60 for the year :)

    Thanks

  • Hey all! Gosh some of them totals are making me envious.. I just don't spend enough money to have that sort of change... I will confess I opened my tin, counted it, swapped out some coins for notes and put the notes back in the tin! They are there until November :D

Gonna set my interim target as €200, that'll pay for my wedding singer at the chapel! Plus on the e of baying news, I got a lovely veil for €6!! hoping its a nice fabric or it'll be put to use in other ways :)

I'm still adding all my loose change and also had a few eb@y sales end over the weekend so roughly after FVF and postage its about £28+ I'm doing really well with this, I thought I would have had the tin opener on the tins by now, but I'm actually getting a kick out of hearing the coins and change falling ontop of all the others in the tin :p

    Good evening everyone :)

Funny old week last week but all back to normal now as I'm back to school. :)

However, I am delighted to say my pot has received a magnificent £1.30 which was rescued from DH's jeans pocket. :rotfl:

I'm now wondering whether I can find even more loose change. Let's call it "DH booty". :D
