Hi all, sorry haven't been on for a while but I've been potting, and today I counted up and banked £136.50 and put it in my siggy :)

Oh regardless of being on the thread or not, Rosy, you've most certainly been saving to have accumulated THAT amount! Brilliant work! :j

Those women at the PO are just too kind to you, jakes-mum, nice of em though, but don't you feel like sharing! :D

I'm not a bit surprised at the speed at which those coins were potted, Saver-upper! :rotfl: Best wishes with the rest.

That's not bad at all, tatabubbly, and a whole lot better than me who potted zilch! :(

Thanks for the confirmation, sparky, it dawned on me last night that folk from Manchester are called Mancunians....a lot more as well I expect, but.......! ;) There was me thinking earlier yesterday that it was somewhere exotic.

Good savings, members, enjoy Friday - though it looks a wet one! :D

  • Gutted to hear a hollow tin today. Some kind person has taken most of my gold coins and damaged the coin slots. Really upset that someone has done this. I thought I was going nuts when my ornaments seemed in different positions but alas they were being moved to access my money tins :(

  • Had a busy week, so my potting has had to take a back seat. Pleased to say, though, that today I managed to pot a £10 note AND 3 x £2 coins!

The pot's rattling well now...it's not heavy enough to start weighing it yet, but I'm looking forward to the day when it is!!
