    Oh that's awful :(:(
    Were you burgled?

Hi rosyq, no I have noticed my ornaments had moved and assumed the bookcase was being knocked or I was imaging it. Today I noticed the damage to a coin slot and on picking both containers up realised they were very light. One was my £2 coin one which started off with about £60 but despite adding coins I could only see £12 (shone my book light through the top). The other is for £1 coins but despite roughly 5 a week since early january been left with £3. Guess it's someone I live with :( I don't want to look in my copper+silver jar

Gutted to hear a hollow tin today. Some kind person has taken most of my gold coins and damaged the coin slots. Really upset that someone has done this. I thought I was going nuts when my ornaments seemed in different positions but alas they were being moved to access my money tins :(

Oh dear hickles, I'm gutted for you, I know how I would feel. Have you any idea who would have done this?
    I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!

Thanks always happy, I'm trying to work out if I made a mistake but deep down I know I haven't. I live with my boyfriend and his family. I pointed it out and sjowed dates and figures that I collated from my posts on here he tried to work out how the pots had been emptied and then approached his brother. Not sure what to think by all this. My other half always asks me if he is running short at the end of month. The rest of the household is away on holiday but will drop it into conversation.

  • Hi everyone,

I've still not caught up on the thread (must do this tomorrow). I'll be glad to see the back of a very spendy February.

4 very large bills (£800 gone out wages straight away). Then the cat hobbled home covered in blood, his pad was cut right through and his claw was damaged. Poor guys paw looked like it belonged to a tiger it was that swollen:(. Another bill, but a very reasonable £47.

I didn't touch my sealed pot, :A, and have managed to keep £10 from my monthly shopping budget, I used the leftover kids lunch money to get the kids treats this week.

So £10 in the pot for me.

Bring on the march madness, I've only got road tax to pay this month. I might manage to save some money! But knowing me I've forgotten something important. Pfft:D

Thanks jakes mum it's certainly caused a bit of upset and obsessive pacing about tonight. I'm in for a restless couple of days. I grew up with a thief so stirred up some old emotions and obsessions. Been with the other half 11 yrs and thought I knew the household well; just want to talk to his mum.

When I go upstairs,I will also add a £10 note made from a sale today.

  • Hi Everyone, hope you are well...

    :j:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:I'm in remission :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::j

I've been to the hospital and they have confirmed that from the scan i had last week they can see no more lymphoma in my shoulder :T:T:T

Scan did pick up a fractured rib though??

Even the dr did not know how I have managed to pick up one of those and remain pain free! They cannot believe that i have not fallen or seriously banged myself.... But I'm not complaining I have no pain and anything that's not cancer is a doddle
Well chuffed to have well and truly smacked its booty:D:D

Sorry to see your news Hickles69 hope that you get it sorted soon my thoughts are with you I'd be gutted if it were my pot (hugs)

No potting for me today as no spending other than the bit of change I had for the car park at the hospital but as I had such good news I will forgive the robbing b*ggers

Oh Hickles - I am so sorry for you. There really isn't anything I can say except that I hope it will come back on whosoever stole your monies - it usually does through karma. Doesn't help I know from experience but sending ((hugs)) and a sunbeam to warm your heart. Maybe open an account like the PO and pop your pounds in there every week eh.
