So sorry you had a carp day Jakes-mum. bloomin men and lazy a$$ parents!!!

We have parking issues up at DD's school where parents just abandon their cars anywhere creating a very dangerous situation when children are trying to cross the road. Some of the parents contacted the police and we do get police officers who patrol around the school every once in a while to check on the parking. It has helped ease it a bit. Hopefully your email will prompt something similar. I would also suggest contacting the head. Maybe a polite letter could be sent out to all parents highlighting the danger to their own children (some parents don't care unless it affects them)?

Hope you have a better day tomorrow xx

To cheer you all up I will impart a very embarrassing story. I had a GP appointment today (heart has been temporarily damaged by chemo so they regularly check me). I felt full of energy at home and decided to walk the 15 minutes to the surgery. Was so out of breath by time I got there I could have sounded like a suspect telephone call with the wheezy breathing!! Doc called me in. I went to take off coat so he could do blood pressure. Some how......and I am still not sure how......coat got caught in cardigan......I got tangled up and couldn't get coat off......doc had back to me and was talking away asking how I was I had ask him to help me take my coat off. Kept apologising to him and in the end just said "this is so embarrassing". He just laughed and said he had had worse things to do that day!!! I made my next appointment with another doc at the practice :)

Oh and in the meantime I have potted £1.

£4.00 gone in the pot today!

Normally try for £2 per day where I take lunch to work, however, had budgeted £40 to fill my car up with petrol, but it stopped at £38 so extra £2 in.

    Evening all :hello:

I hadn't potted anything for ages as I haven't been spending much (every cloud eh?!). I had a mini-meltdown at work on Weds so things have just been a bit pants really.

Found 20p at the bottom of my purse amongst all the receipts so that's been potted for now. Better than nothing, I suppose.

    Hello everyone :D...

Just a few pennies for the pot today. Change from the clothes I bought. It was only £19.99 I spent, but still I felt guilty :o. At least I've got some new clothes now (with tags, shock, horror), two t-shirts a micro fleece :D.
Yes Sue, it was the last two tyres, they were needed though . Skint for a while now :(, oh well, onwards and upwards :D.
Hope something's just around the corner for you e4rub.

    Happy Potting everyone .

  • SueUU - it was most definitely a compliment xx:T

Well haven't we had ups & downs between us so :T:T:For those having good times & :grouphug: hugs for those where things are not so good but as they say it can only get better :D

Another NSD for me today but will be checking my holding pot in the morning and adding some then :j:j

Nell good to hear from you, glad your starting your treatment soon - the sooner it starts the sooner its done:o the docs told me that the fatigue that you can feel can be as much to do with the travelling to the hosp each day as much as the actual treatment itself so remember to be kind to yourself and rest and relax and not to over do it. They gave me some cream as well for the area that has the RT so apply this in thin layers regularly and be aware that it may not get sore immediately or at the site that they are targeting with the RT. mine happened 8 days after treatment had finished and under my armpit (my site target was on my chest? And the lymphoma in my shoulder joint!) it was sore for about 10 days they also told me to keep the cream in the fridge (cooler is more soothing!!)
Good luck with your treatment - hope all goes well xx

Welcome to all the newbies - good luck with your savings:D
