*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.

LOL I have a beard... Not a nicely trimmed and kept beard but a gnarly old man beard with more grey and ginger in it than black! It's sort of cool, people don't ask me for spare change in the street now ;)

Thanks for the info Sue, I wasn't sure if there were any strict guidelines or anything that I needed to stick to to stay a member of the posse...

Aha Monkeyballs!..So another one who doesn't read that 1st post for all the info then!! :( I did wonder about your gender when you said the lil ol lady said sonny boy, but you never really know these days. :undecidedThanks for a good giggle, MB, it's done me a power of good. Crafty so and so with your Bro and the £2 gain. Very :money:

Very good, Ruth, save wherever you can.

Good saving at A!di, samtoby. I must admit I'm tempted of trying somewhere else, but which one!

Brilliant news on your £25 win, LC 2!! :T

Can I add my quidco cashback payment to the pot?

Yes, Katey1980, that'll be fine with Quidco, I must pop it on the 1st post again.

Sue UU - glad you are feeling better - it's been quite weird and quiet without you xx

Thanks so much, Meowhouse, though not sure whether the latter part is praise or an insult! ;)

Jammy devil, Caz, well done though. :D

Well done, nu1isit?, is that the first 2 tyres or the last? Well done whichever.

You're off to a good start, andreat. :)

Not to worry, Delilahh, we can't be potting all the time - can we?

Oh that's a perfect welcome, ETO!!!! :rotfl: I LOVE the date bit!!!! ;) A gold star award - just has to be! :staradmin Well done with the £5er too!!!

I have been very slowly potting the odd bits of change here and there, but have been enjoying getting out for a few short walks each day and some pilates at home in the mornings. It tires me out no end, but I must do it.

Hopefully will have planning scan for radiotherapy within the next week or two. I saw Consultant yesterday and they are going to give me 20 doses of radiotherapy, but don't expect many side effects apart from a bit more tiredness.

Wonderful to see you back, Nell! :grinheartYou should most certainly make time for the short walks and pilates as both will release endorphins into your brain and make you feel so good. All the very best with the radiotherapy being done quickly so you can then rest up and completely get on with life as it should be!

Thanks so much, mumof3plusoh, I'm much better now, thank you. Very well done on your DD getting an A in English! :T Our DGS got another A with Geography!!

It's a difficult time of year that's just gone by, shiningfaery, be patient and it'll come better. ;)

NO AlwaysHappy! You could not! £2 coins come with a "save me" tag. ;)
Carried lunch from home for 4 days this week. So that's £20 potted :j

You're a great example, Loveactually, and will save a fortune through the year!!! :j

My poor little pot may be left hungry today, it all depends on how brave I am. I have no car today and normally get the bus home but the bus has not turned up twice before so I am a bit hesitant to trust it so I thought I may get a train home. The train station is over a mile away from work, and my home is just under a mile away from the train station. I am a very weighty person with my exercise regime set to zero, but I was wondering if I could actually walk home. Google maps says it 3 miles. It says it would take me an hour, but I've waited for the bus longer than that before now! The bus costs me £2.40 so if I walk I could pot that. I think I must be CRAZY :):):)

YOU CAN DO IT, Sams!! :j I do hope you were/are successful as it'll give you such a huge buzz with your cash and doing so much exercise and may well start you off on doing even more to save instead of forking out hard-earned cash to bus/train companies! Go for it whenever possible!

    Excellent savings, Ellie!!!

Brilliant, thatclaregirl, why pay when you can get it free! So, I wonder if by the end of the year you will have walked 333 miles! Well, you did say about 3 and given your SPC No is 333....it's logic and well within reach. :j

Why not stick it in the pot, 3431Anna, yay!!!!! :D

Have a wonderful weekend, SPCers, stay warm and keep on saving!

PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. forums.moneysavingexpert.com Please change numbers ASAP folks.

If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!

    Very many thanks indeed.

£9 potted today - leftover money from my cash challenge this week :D
  • Checked my purse this morning and have £15.50 in change from £20 at the beginning of the week. :j

Ill pot the £5.50 and keep the £10 as I take my DD's swimming on Saturday and Sunday, well I chuck them in the pool and I go to the gym and in the pool later. They are both of school with a tummy bug today, they're feeling better now so must just of been a 24hr thing. Bonus I saved school meal and breakfast club money:D, that's another £4.50 for the pot. Result.

Another plus I've lost 4.5 of the good pounds so that's 12.5 in total.

    :T So that's £10 in change for me today:T

OH was away for meetings last night and today, so I shall pat him down for change when he gets back :p

queendiorable - your official welcome is on my post above, so don't think you've been forgotten.

Brilliant moomin, a lovely lot in your pot.

Oh very well done, claireyfairy! Good to hear the kiddies are better now - and that you've saved more. :D

Hi shinner, good to see you. I know it's difficult to see names on the list, but I had a real feeling you were on there, I was right too! You're No 099 and if you'd swap that with your old one I'd be so grateful. Thanks a lot. Good to hear you're spending very little which is good news. I only have 1 spend day a week, the rest are all NSDs. :( Not to worry though, our day'll come...I hope. ;)

Why did they wait so long to make such a beautiful coin eh, fishcakes?! That's one I can't bear to part with

Bless you dear Kerry, thank you so very much. Joey is delighted, the rest of us also. Good potting too.
Have a lovely weekend, all SPCers, stay warm and keep on saving! :D
