Quick question, I've re-read the guidelines and also did a search on the forum to see if I can find the answer, but no luck. Can I add my quidco cashback payment to the pot?

I'm counting mine :) It is kind of like a part time jab ish, it's unexpected money, like a present from quido lol. It's not inherited and its not money directly from the bank and it's not a huge amount so i say its ok :D

"Any money given as a gift (other than Birthdays, Christmas etc) i.e.. Inherited can not be included as savings. Likewise any money put directly into the bank cannot be counted as savings with SPC. Money from small second jobs is ok, such as cleaning for Mrs Bloggs down the road/ taking in ironing, a PT job or anything similar is ok to be saved. Any savings saved via Christmas Clubs can also be used in your SPC Totals, it's another way of saving for Christmas after all" - quoted from the first post.

You have been missed Nell so you will see a few people worry is all was ok :)

mooomin Do you make any changes to that jambalaya recipe? Also, is it spicy?

I kept £2 back from my money last night because i haven't been to the cash machine yet and didn't want to be without money. I will pot it as soon as i've been.

15p change from Milk potted today - KERRRCHING!!!

This will sound a bit weird but has anyone ever noticed how beautiful the sound of a coin landing in a jar full of other coins sounds? Like a little fairy saying thank you...

Hope you feel better soon Sue xxx
My daughter got her GCSE English results today and she got an A*, she was chuffed to bits as are we both. Very proud of her.:kisses:
Found 11p in an envelope so potted that along with £1 coin.
    :j:j

Many congratulations to your daughter, great result.

My poor little pot may be left hungry today, it all depends on how brave I am. I have no car today and normally get the bus home but the bus has not turned up twice before so I am a bit hesitant to trust it so I thought I may get a train home. The train station is over a mile away from work, and my home is just under a mile away from the train station. I am a very weighty person with my exercise regime set to zero, but I was wondering if I could actually walk home. Google maps says it 3 miles. It says it would take me an hour, but I've waited for the bus longer than that before now! The bus costs me £2.40 so if I walk I could pot that. I think I must be CRAZY :):):)

Best wishes with your sponsorship, thatclaregirl, how about a cheap pedometer?

Happy Friday all, and thank you Sue for my SPC member number :) I'm thinking 3 could well be my lucky number for this year, it is written :D

My pedometer gave up the ghost last year, so i am now using the sports tracking app Endomondo on my mobile phone. It's free ( yay!) and is very handy as it calculates distance, calories burned, and many other stats and graphs to keep my inner geek happy!

Today, £1.30 in the pot from buying my faithful pooch (and walk buddy) her biscuit treats from the pet food wholesaler rather than the local shop, and £1.58 from buying some mp3 tunes on amazon and discovering i had a gift certificate to cover the purchase!

Hope everyone has a great day of potting, and many lovely satisfying ker-chink sounds for all!
