Feeling very very good today :rotfl:

I hadn't potted anything until yesterday but then put on an old coat last night and found just short of £2 in change (also £ coins and 20ps for other pots) so I've made my first deposit in my tin (which I had managed to move and misplace). Might try another old coat today!*2014 £365/365days - £52/£365* *20p Savers club #17 £12.00/£50*

Can't you claim for exceptional circumstances so they'll defer the penalty?? Sounds like a serious accident so the police would have been involved I assume? Which means you'll have proof that you were there. Worth asking as it's not exactly your fault.
Yeah, I'll hand in a form with my assignment. Hopefully I won't lose my marks but, at the end of the day, it should be a lesson to me not to leave it so late to hand in that being delayed an hour puts me over the deadline!!Sealed Pot Challenge #239

Of course you can join us, Smiffy64. A very warm welcome to you. :grinheart Have fun saving, posting and enjoying the banter. You'll find your number at the bottom of the list on post 1of page 1. Please read through post 1 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. PS. We always empty our pots and declare our savings near the end of November, please make a note of this year's date: 27th Nov.

*Please pop your numbers on your sigs, it really helps.e4rub wrote::mad::mad::mad::mad: If we didn't have bad luck we would have no luck at all. Thought I could see the light at the end of the tunnel but someone has just poked me in the eye!!!
Redundancy is knocking on my door again
:(Potted 7p
Emily x
Sadly or not, if we didn't have the bad, Emily, we'd never be able to appreciate the good.
Fingers crossed that the redundancy won't come to fruition...or did you mean it already had? IF it has then all the very best in finding a new one, and who knows, maybe a better one!
That's such a shame about your coursework penalty, amiehall, but take solace in the fact that to the person with whom you waited you were probably a Godsend. :A Isn't starnac right with what she suggests though?
Oh dear, jakes-mum, it's a sad world when people can't simply show a little consideration and do the right thing. Sadly, happens a great deal though.
I'll bet your Dr was absolutely right, Nell, don't worry about it. I hope the heart and getting around soon gets much better as time goes by and the chemo leave your system.
Leave the past behind you, Vicky, and look forward to brighter times. Not point not doing.
Thank you so much, Modesty.nu1isit wrote:Just a few pennies for the pot today. Change from the clothes I bought. It was only £19.99 I spent, but still I felt guilty
. At least I've got some new clothes now (with tags, shock, horror), two t-shirts a micro fleece
.
Yes Sue, it was the last two tyres, they were needed though . Skint for a while now :(, oh well, onwards and upwards
.
Oh that's great news, nuisit?!! :T It's good to know you're all safe. Why feel guilty about the clothing money though? You need to keep yourself warm in order to care for the family - if you don't then it's not so easy to do so, so replace the guilt with a smile.
Good to know it was a compliment, Meowhouse, though I honestly never thought anything different.
A gold star to you for that great advice to Nell. :staradmin
Hiya mossy and lovely to have you back. Good to hear you so enjoyed the holiday, how fortunate with the weather!!! Did you get Santa's pressies in the end?queendiorable wrote:Hi I have potted another £4.87 today :T:TFeeling really good about this and look forward to receiving my members number
queendiorable, you have been allocated a number, just take a look at the list on the 1st post of page 1. Your welcome is a couple of pages back. Good potting. [Edit] Ah, just seen on the last page that you've found your No, but could you now please pop it on your signature for me, directions are above below Smiffy's welcome.
There you go see, Saver-upper, the right customers at the right time! :jWell done.
Sorry to hear you've been poorly, Mystikia, get well soon and get plenty of rest.
I do hope your little one's soon much better, Cauliflower, but at least she had her Mum with her, a lot to be said for that.
You have a great weekend too, Lynsey. A lovely day here and yes, washing on the line, darn good job too with tomorrow's forecast.sams247 wrote:I DID IT!!!! :j :j :j
Cant believe I actually did it. It took me an hour and a half but I made it. My DD and OH couldn't believe it. Felt very proud of myself, and money in the pot to boot
That's absolutely fantastic news, Sams!!!!!! :T What an achievement for you and just goes to show what's possible when you put your mind to it. Now build on it and do yourself so many favours in many ways, and remember.....YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!! :j
Good for you, Giggles86, keep hunting in case there are any more.
Brilliant news, Katy!!!!!
A lovely £10 in the pot for us UU's, brilliant.
Have a really lovely weekend, everyone, stay warm and keep on saving!
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x
Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late.
