  • Been quietly potting away over Christmas. I've just booked a mystery 4 day coach tour for £69 each (instead of hitting the sales) I'm sure we'll enjoy that more than the sales crush.

Ah Sue, don't worry about Jake, his xbox is still in his room and her Disney game is 2 player so they were both sat there playing it! Tbh he should count his lucky stars as it had been confiscated since before Christmas because of his behaviour so she actually did him a favour and got it returned a few days earlier than intended ;)

Mommyof4 check your local FB selling pages if your on there as we have quite a few phone/ipad screen repair blokes on ours who do it a darned sight cheaper than Apple will.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Morning all, just popped in to welcome even more newbies - good luck to you all. This is DEFINITELY going to be a £50k+ year.
pinkie_pie - everyone is welcome, the more the merrier and a great time to start. Sue will allocate you a number once she spots your post.

mommyof4 - ouch!! I think the vets bill would be high also after that.
Hope you get it repaired at a reasonable cost if not covered by, or not worth claiming on an insurance.

lucyhope - is that with Shearings?? Please update where you ended up on your mystery tour.

Off shopping soon for Brother and I might pick up a little change.

I have a terramundi kicking around that I've not used for ages, so I'll put change in there until it's full and then see what other piggies I can use :D Not saving for a particular goal, just to try and put a little aside.
  • Welcome pinkie_pie and mooomin, take a look at the very first post on this thread it will tell you everything you need to know, our "Boss and conscience" Sue-UU will be on later and allocate your number which is then yours forever(ish) :)

Come on here every now and again or daily if you want and let us know how you're doing or need a bit of support or inspiration :D

  • Hi everyone, I've missed you all over Christmas when I haven't had any internet, but I'm back now!! Hope You've all had a great time, lots of Christmas pudding by the sound of it!!:rotfl:

Potted £2.60 yesterday. I've realised that if I'm to get anywhere near my £1000 ambitious target I'll have to aim for about £3 a day on average......hmmm. I'll add the amount banked to my sig though so I have a running total.

However I will need to bank regularly I think and use the money to pay arrears.:o No point having outstanding bills when the money is in my pot xx

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Good morning everyone
Daily £3 going into the pot once I can motivate myself to go upstairs for a shower! This tree with the wonky lights is coming down today because it's getting right on my nerves now. Bah humbug!

It's not a nice day out there, so if you're going out, make sure you wrap up warm.

    Welcome to our newest members.

Stay safe & keep saving everyone

  • 2x£2 coins + 21p from washing machine. I think all the £2 coins potted from last year are now back in circulation . Picked up my Boots order , from Christmas Eve sale, today. All packed away with labels on for the recipients. Oo it's lovely knowing I've sorted lots of birthday and Christmas presents. Don't go out if you don't have too today. The weather is warmer but wetter.xx
