I'm not counting the money as I pot it - should I be? Just putting in my roadkill (a massive 3p so far) and any change I have in my purse every couple of days. Just thought I'd sling it all in and see what I get at the end.

I found 4p when clearing away. I would have tossed it aside but today I potted it :-) now on £17.69 in 3 weeks. I have created several different pots in the house for different things hahaha my bf going to think I've gone mad with all these pasta jars! One for joint spare change from after food shop or selling things jointly to go towards going out or our holiday. :beer:NSD: 3/15 April

A very safe
happy and healthy New Year,
_party_ P o t t e r s!! _party_
Very well done, Gwengeth15, and I've added the £100 Target to your name and No, all the best in achieving it...or more! :j£1.25 into the pot today, it's such a practise now, any change I get, it's straight to the pot!
That's the way it's done, ALM, you've got it off to a T.
Good for you in sticking to your guns and knowing best, Nikki!
Good potting, nanto3girls! Did you go to next door this morning? I waited all morning - then cleaned and polished myself...well not myself, but the furniture.
Is the Target for you alone, lynnsey30, or did you want me to add one after your name & No? Great saving.Good news is that I haven't spent very much over the Christmas period. Bad news is that the pot is crying out for some money!! Managed to pot a healthy £7.10 today. Yippee...
One problem that's easily resolved, siju, treat the cash like a dummy and whack it in when the pot starts!! :rotfl:Tiggyw00 wrote:I'm not counting the money as I pot it - should I be? Not unless you want to, Tiggyw00, the majority of us just pop it in and wait for the surprise. We often say here how much we've potted, but we can never remember it - or want to!
You be happy with your pots, frugaldances. :j You used to "toss cash aside" prior to SPC?????! We've saved you!!
THAT was quick, 3431Anna !!!! Brilliant saving! :j
Good work and saving, bellevie!
PLEASE NOTE everyone: It's time to change your numbers! You'll see there are LOADS less names and numbers now, but it's useless having folk on the list that no longer save with us. However, if old members return then you'll be made very welcome and can still have your name added and be given a new number. Please change numbers ASAP folks.
If you've already updated your No, please could you kindly make sure it's correct as I made a blunder to start with!
Very many thanks indeed.Sue x
Anyone wishing to join, please just ask, you're more than welcome, it's NEVER too late. Today I collected £10 in shiny £2 coins - so they have had to go in my tin - the sound was so satisfying to hear now that there is a layer across the bottom, no longer that empty thud, iykwim. I love the support and encouragement on here, really inspires me to do well, yet I know it isn't a competition, anything we manage to put aside is great and everyone has different sets of circumstances and challenges. I would be disappointed if a coin (even just a 1p) wasn't potted everyday, just to give me the chance to come on here and report my progress. Am loving it!!!!I'm not a failure if I don't make it, I'm a success because I :tried!0
