I haven't bought much this week because of Xmas and anything I have has gone on my card. So that's good and also I haven't dipped into it either which I am pretty impressed with!

I was quite lucky today, I only went to my local newsagents but found 26p on the way there and back 20p, 5p and a 1p

Right I have just managed to count the money in my sealed pot I know that is not the idea but was excited to know how much I was starting with. I have been saving for two weeks and have saved £34.i hope I can keep going cause I'm very good at spending but I'm sure with support I will xxx

Its sounds like jakes-mum and LC have met my Mam :rotfl: :rotfl:. Here kids, have some sugar, have something sugary in a different colour, and have something cunningly disguised as good, that has a ton of sugar inside it :eek:. It's a triple stacked battery pack, for hyperactivity :rotfl: :eek: :rotfl:. Then she sits and smiles while the pinball themselves all over the park, beach, house etc., etc., etc. It's okay though, I'm going to return the favour one day, when she offers to baby sit them. 'Here kids, eat this, it's nice, it's called a Kendal Mint Cake. Mmmm, yummy, yum, yum :rotfl: .

Found my first washing machine roadkill today, so it's went straight into the pot :A :A.

Just potted 2x £2 coins also potted some notes as I have no plans to go anywhere and going to count every month and pay off my credit cards but will keep a tally of how muchsaved monthly also found 30p tidying up x
I have a few bids on ebay at mo hoping to earn £40 so i can nab a few gifts from boots sale or I may be good and pay it off cards hmmm.

Me too I can't believe how excited I get at the thought of getting money to put in my pot:D:D

I also think that having the support of the thread and the banter most certainly helps when it comes to wanting to be committed - I think I have saved so much more money that I would have really just frittered away prior to joining the group - I'm intrigued to know what's in my pot already but the beauty of the sealing means we have to be patient and wait:mad: roll on 27th Nov 14 :
