Good morning!
Went to a puppet show yrsterday and to see Santa. All paid and budgeted for. But then found out one of friends had booked a table for lunch before heading to the chrstmas market. £23 spend, 18 over budget. But we gave the market a miss as DS ran into a table and cut his eyebrow (he is fine now). But quickly stopped at our wedding venue nearby and paid our deposit.
Last night had a girls night and offered to be designated driver. Jyst too a lemonade from the house. However left my jacket with wallet and everything there, so will have to get that soon to do the grocery shop.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
Morning all
Sorry for not posting too much of late I've been absolutely manic!
Good news is that I have qualified for group instruction in fitness industry and am starting my classes up (as my 3rd job!) 1 evening a week from beginning of January!
Hoping it will be very successful to allow me to plunge it all towards debt.
Therefore I have had a few spend days as had to secure the hall booking and get some flyers done so everyone knows where to come post Christmas to get back in shape!

Wow you lot are doing a splendid job towards the DDD challenge! I however must confess that I am struggling a little on my targets.
Car window got smashed yesterday so that was unplanned for. Did have a little spend on my Debenhams card online too. Naughty naughty.
I did however decide not to drink Friday night at my works do so didn't spend any money other than fuel.
So scores on the doors so far:

Some people are just out to make others feel bad. boo hiss.
Am with you on this, stewby Boo hiss to all the baddies out there! Boo hiss to those who make other people feel bad. Boo hiss to those who break other people's car windows.
But they won't win. They won't overwhelm this noble band of DDDers. We stand united against those who sap our energy and resources, and say a big 'Ya boo hiss' to them all!
And then we go back to our notebooks and coloured pens, our multi-faceted spreadsheets, we return to our resolve, our goals and our individual big picture. And we stick our tongues out in a most mature way!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

Had a really nice planned spend day yesterday... but time to buckle down again though... Had a positive day so far - helping somebody close to me go through their debts and spending - coming up with a shiny new budget. They seemed really excited to have a plan and see a way towards clearing their debts!!!
Today = SFD number 5
Day in chilling out today!!!
Have only managed 1/3 gym visits this week... will do better next week!!!

Best thing I have read yet - I LOVE MY SPREADSHEET! Seriously created some epic spreadsheet last night. Didn't have time to tell you all as my computer was playing up so I put it on my facebook page ... but I am going to look back on Thrifty's input a little while ago and add in some PIE CHARTS!!!:T“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Afternoon all
CottageRetreatist sorry to hear about OH and the job. My OH has done this with his last two jobs so I know how you feel. As someone mentioned I think it is a pride thing, my OH left after being under appreciated my his bosses and then criticised my younger inexperienced colleagues.
Today has been a spend day as predicted as I did the food shopping. Also had to buy supplies for tutoring but this has taken me over my Spends/Misc budget, however I didn't go out last night to a Christmas do so the damage has been minimised
I'm hoping the rest of the month should be very cheap as I only have £10 left that I need to spend on Christmas presents. I need £5 for car parking to attend the pantomime (ticket was a present) and have no other social events until Christmas Eve which is my next payday
Also did a tutoring job today so earned more penniesLBM = 07/09/13 Debt = £13339 (100% cleared)

Hi everyone!
Nothing much to report, NSD-at last I'm up to two, lol. I did have a major victyory dance today thoughWhen we had sky my daughter used to be able to access her tv by using the box for signal. we realised she cannot do this with our virgin box. To get another virgin box would be £49 installation plus 6.50 per month
I rang them and explained i'd already paid an installation fee yesterday, please could I have a reduction. After much holding, they gave me free installation :T Not strictly essential but she cannot watch TV as our ariel reception is rubbish.
Good luck everyone and keep strong! The temptation to part with our pennies is going to get stronger as the countdown to christmas starts:A Your Always in my heart, you never ever will be forgotten-9/9/14:heart2:0 -
Feeling a bit flat today and distinctly un-christmassy. Not sure why, just been a funny sort of day. Although on the positive side its been a SFD and i've dropped the food bank donation off.
SFD 6/15
Lunch to work 5/13
Food £61.11/£120 (including foodbank donation)
Foodbank £5.25/£50 -
