No running this eve as the weather has been so grim, however I replaced this with a Combat and toning DVD as I'm too much of a wimp to face the gale force wind oot there!

Hi guys.
Thanks for the warm thoughts but I feel like such a fraud. As I have said all along, the minute I think I have it rough then someone else comes along and shows me that it's not.
My roof will be a one-off cost but C-R has it so much worse than me as her husband is losing his job and she is losing part of the household income.
C-R... I hope that you hubby finds a new job (or gets a new contract offer) soon and that it doesn't cause you too many problems.
Hugs.
Thanks again.
Hugs to everyone.Mortgage: £0/£80,329.91

Hello DDDers!

I have 37.5hrs to do over the next 4 days so forgive me for a short check in now. But I have read all of your posts on the threat
Totals 27th-26th
Food- £97/£250 (+£100 more than usual this month)
Fuel- £68/£250 (+£100 more than usual- driving to N.Ireland & back)

More details and more importantly goals in the next day or so. I do love goals!!
Abundant I like that month ahead idea
Kat Tsk as most of those spends weren't "planned" ones, but yes you do deserve it. Just keep off that slippery slope to where you've fought from!
Stewby & C-T Boo hiss!
Thrifty The wedding plans are shaping up nicely. Glad you picked the nicer venue
Lillian Fingers crossed on the secret conception goal!
PurpleJay I don't remember what you said exactly, but your last post or two made me laugh! :rotfl:
(Hope I remembered everyone rightly!)
Keep at it DDDers!

Just decided what goal #5 for 2014 should be:
- sort out my will etc (think I read this on someone else's post, so thank you to that person.
Off to The Square Mile bit of London for a course today. Not sure what to expect learning-wise, but am planning to enjoy it and chill out. We get lunch provided, so it'll be interesting to see what gluten-free offerings they supply... Best pack a few rations in case! All travel will be reimbursed, so don't want to spoil a NSD because I've not taken enough munchies. Am currently not eating sugar (today is only day 2, mind!) as my face is sooooo itchy and I've noticed a link with when I've eaten sugary things. I think 3 days will be a decent goalfor starters - if I can see a decrease in the scratchiness, that'll be motivation to keep sugar-free.
Re the NSDs, although I got nowhere near NOvember's target of 25, it did set me up to really try to consider and plan my spending days in DDD, so that I've got 4 so far. It's a good feeling.
Enough wittering! Hugs to all who want them. It's nearly the weekend!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!0 -

thank you everyone for your kind, kind words. I also hope things pick up again - he's a very proud man and feels very hard done by so I'm hoping he doesn't do something stupid like hand in his notice and walk out early - it would hit us hard not getting all the money he's got due. eek!! I'm trying to put a positive spin on it for his sake cause he is very down about it but inside I'm carping myself just a little.
but looking at it positively - no unnecessary spends for the next few months! haha!!
Hope no one was hit too badly by the blustery winds? I watched it on the news but nothing like that really down here in London.
Sending everyone hugs xxxDebts @ LBM (May 2013): £25,250.27 | Debt Free: May 2015 :j:j0 -
MORNING! I'm BACK!!! Sorry for the lack of check in yesterday. Most of the day was spent travelling and I am NOT a good traveller at all....
So just wanting to say HELLO and "Thank Goodness It's Friday" ...
I need to back track and read some posts to see what you have all been up to!
More soon!!“Nothing in this world can take the place of persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Quick question ... does spending food money out of the allocated food budget only mean I can still claim a spend free day, as it was budgeted for? A little unsure of the rules and do want to play nicely!
Not sure if this has been answered but no not really. If you spend anything - it's a spend day no matter if it was budgetted for or not. Yay finally managed my first SFD yesterday :T:T:T
Went to the ballet last night with my mum and DD tickets were already paid for and as my and DD treated my mum she bought the ice creams :j had a lift there and back so didn't use my petrol or have to pay parking
Today tho is a different matter went to do lunches for DH and DS2 and bread mouldy so had to run to shop for bread, oh well cheaper than them buying lunch at work/ school
Hope everyone has a good day, I'm off to visit my cousin and her baby so hopefully no more spends
