  • Nearly a disaster today, possible roof leak, and in the chaos I accidentally left my lunch at home... ferretted arround in my desk drawer and found an emergency jar of fish paste to put on my crackers :-) So that's an unblemished record on day no 11!

Oh and hubby says the roof's being sorted as I write.
Unfortunately I've been diagnosed as having brain cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. More details as I get them...

Oh dear, sounds like we are all having a bit of a pre Christmas 'blah'. Well, blah no more! This time next week it'll be Christmas Eve!

What days is everyone working over Christmas? I am working next Mon and Fri (23rd and 27th) and The following Thurs and Fri (2nd and 3rd Jan).

I am looking forward to some time off, but being self-employed that means i dont get any £ :(
Never mind, the time off means less £ spent on petrol to get to work.

Jelly and Brangwen- i have updated you :)
  • Day 6 & 7 for me please! Am working up to and including next monday, then not back in the office till Friday 3rd January, though will have to do one or possibly two days work from home :(

Whooooaaaa what a day, sorry for the late update from me... had porridge for breakfast, LO hm pizza, chips and garlic dough balls again and snuck a doughnut in for a snack (yum)

At this rate I don't know if I'll be in the office tomorrow or wfh as there are major train issues this evening (and this morning) and I might not get a train in thr morning :-S

But I might cook up rice tonight if I get in early enough as I made some Pakra Chan last night and will have with rice for lunch tomorrow either way. Heck, I may even make some rotis if I'm not too pooped...

WTBSE, I'm working every day bar the bank holidays as my boss and his boss are both off :-(

Afternoon all. Oh my, I'm struggling to focus on work today - I think I've hit a bit of burn out, whoops. Still, half way to the weekend eh?

I munched my porridge this morning trying to desperately pretend it was a bacon sarnie (I'm getting bored of porridge now but it's good for me and it's uber cheap).

I'm out for lunch today (my second 'planned' no-LTW day) and I'm really looking forward to it - catching up with a couple of people I worked with at a previous co, one who I see a fair bit in passing, the other I haven't seen for 2 years. But I'm sure it'll involve chips so I'm doubley happy! :D
