    Morning all x

Sorry for the silence yesterday, work was extra bonkers (will be again today) and last night I was getting my new laptop up and running and kicking off an online game download, clearing up my spam filled email account and having a general tidy up

Yesterday was porridge for breakfast, goats cheese and pumpkin tart with lo hm chips and a sausage, and one of those largee cookies in the afternoon

Today is porridge for breakfast, and a pumpkin and goats cheese tart wih lo roast pots for lunch. I haven't got a snack with me but am at a building-wide chriatmas meet-up during the day today. They will have mince pies there so I'll munch one of those if they have no alchohol (brandy I suppose) in them

Have a good day all x

Hi WantToBeSE and other members, just a quick post to say thanks for keeping the LTW threads going :A

I haven't been around due to my BIL passing away suddenly, he had a diagnosis of bowel cancer and only six weeks later we were attending his funeral so it's been a total shock to everyone.

I don't think I'm going to be around in the near future but I wish you all the very best of luck and make sure you save lots of money!

So sorry to hear your news kittiej. <<hugs>> xx

    Day 9 completed

I am going to spend my day off tomorrow making some things to take in to work for lunches. I haven't decided what yet though. I might make sausage and stuffing rolls.

I am sorry to hear your news kittie x

  • Day 4 complete, had to go into town on lunch break but again avoided buying anything for lunch. Instead am having a mugshot (like a pot noodle but lower cal) yoghurt, some wholegrain sour cream and black pepper snacks, banana and satsuma.

  • Day 8 completed! Though I had 2 days off this week, I had my lunch from what I had in anyway(instant soup and toast). More hummus today with toast and an apple. Oh and a lemon cupcake:j (the boss brought in cakes for her birthday!)
Unfortunately I've been diagnosed as having brain cancer and am currently undergoing treatment. More details as I get them...

Bah! just wrote a post and it disappeared.

Bit of a panic this morning when I remembered I hadn't made anything for lunch today. Mainly due to the fact the freezer and fridge are bare awaiting the big shop I'll do this weekend. So grabbed a handful of crackers, last of the cheese, cherry tomatoes, some onion relish and the last of the grapes. Delish and day 8 complete:) Think I may be losing a pound or two as well as I'm not eating all the shop bought fatty rubbish. Away NOW to work out tomorrow's lunch.......

Forgot to say yesterday I had the last of the chicken soup. It was all right but in all honesty had not improved from its stint in the freezer .... it seemed to have separated and though after I stirred it in the microwave it was okay it had a slightly grainy texture. Anyway never mind. Onwards and upwards. I'm off work today but will be making carrot and cardamom soup for next week. Tomorrow I'll make lasagne again, or maybe chilli con carne ... haven't quite decided.
