This proves how much notice you take of the thread. The OP is no longer here (PPRd)! So how could I possibly be wasting her time??PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0 -
What advice exactly have I given which was bad? I said that the OP could appeal using boarding and alighting exemptions which do exist.
So I answered her question with accurate information based on the information she gave. I don't see how I got "her hopes up". The success of her appeal would depend on the information and evidence that she herself provided when making the appeal. So she would create her own "hopes"!
From what the OP has told us, then 'boarding and alighting exemptions would not apply. So to suggest they might would be bad advice, and would just get the OP's hopes up.0 -

Dropping a child off at school because you are too lazy to walk for 10 minutes in cold weather is not acceptable grounds to park on yellow lines. If your child was physically disabled then it may be a different matter. But in this case there would be special provisions in place. You would know this if you had a special needs child.
Yet again WRONG!! There are no such things as "traffic wardens"!!
And you still didn't explain how you know how far/near the OP parked from the school itself to conclude that she was "too lazy to walk".
You MAY of course be right... but how do you know??PLEASE NOTEMy advice should be used as guidance only. You should always obtain face to face professional advice before taking any action.0 -

If you had taken any notice of the thread, then you would know that the OP had not been PPR's for the first couple of pages. So they had plenty of time to give us more details. Rather than you just inventing your own scenario.
The OP quite clearly said that they parked on yello0w lines rather than walk in the cold. So this made their reason for ignoring parking regulations quite clear to all of us who aren't on a crusade against parking regulations.
Have you never heard the saying 'when in a hole stop digging'?0 -

I don't really care what they call them now, because I do have a life, and have more important things to worry about.
Maybe you should try reading the OP's posts. The reasons for parking where they did is quite clear.
It doesn't matter how far they were from the school. This doesn't change the fact that they were breaking parking regulations.0 -
