"Of" refers to a relationship, Robin of Sherwood, Seven of Nine, Hair of the dog, etc.
You left out: Full of ...it.
It's not "you of made assumptions", it is "you have made assumptions"
Maybe I'll draw a (yellow) line under this one before I get into trouble.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -
Do what they do in Germany etc. Get a few parents together, tie the little darlings to a long rope, supervise the head and the rear of the line.Captain_Flack. wrote: »Why can't your child walk to school?
Get a few parents together and STOP treating kids as glass. If that is beyond your capabilities park some way away and walk to the school.
(By the way, I used to walk a mile to school, winter and summer.)0 -

There is only one problem with doing that.
It probably wouldn't take long before the local council decided that the adults who were supervising the children would need to undergo a full CRB check before they were allowed to take charge of the kids, and if the system was to be run on a rostered basis, everyone on the list of potential supervisors would need to undergo the checking procedure.0 -
This sort of thread always makes me think of this(By the way, I used to walk a mile to school, winter and summer.)
