    Morning flyfolks

Hope you are wrong Valli about being used. x
    Good vibes to Soapie x
Hope RP is comfortable and ok x

WM is on as I was awoken this morning to the sound of a vomiting child.
Plans have had to change for the next couple of days but on the bright side I will have to stay home so should be able to fly.

Next job find someone to take over Mother duties and then ring school.

Back later may have to do a few HHC or QHCs

:rudolf: 2 more large boxes unpacked this morning, bringing my challenge total to 8/20 (I think - I've lost count, and as fast as I'm emptying them, we're giving boxes away to the pre-school to make animals for their life-size Nativity scene!) but I've now run out of cupboard space, so the rest will have to wait until we have some bedroom furniture :p

First shower of the day went to the orchids :D who are now dust-free and safely tucked up on their north-facing window sill on the landing, instead of cluttering up the kitchen table.

Trying to reach the last orchid off the kitchen window sill, I managed to jog the table. My tall Portmeirion vase containing lilies tipped over - as if in slow motion - but I was stuck between the table and the sofa which is also jammed into the kitchen, and I couldn't get to the vase in time to save it. It stayed on the table, but horizontally, and is fine. The lilies landed on the floor, but not a single flower was broken. The water went all over the floor, which (until next Monday ;) ) still has its temporary plywood covering.
    :eek::eek::eek:
Fortunately no real damage done :D

DH :A tells me that breakfast is now ready :D

Have a good day, everyone. Please accept offerings of (((hugs))) spoons and/or sticks as needed. Gentle strokes to Royal Paws.

    Good morning :D

I am not really here this week :o I have an essay to write (started yesterday, due next Monday ) and a literature review, as well as paid stuff and relating paperwork :(

I have been keeping a careful eye on the black Friday deals - but I think it is now time to STEP AWAY FROM THE INTERNET!! Yesterday I got 4 leg0 books, a vt3ch laptop and a cordless vacuum! I had only gone on there because BIL wants the Hobbit extended DVD for Chrimbo! It was in my shopping basket, but thought I would wait 'til black Friday week, just in case. Happy to report that I have got that deal this morning :j And it has sold out within 5 minutes :p Yay me!

    This morning I aim to:
make some brownies (for the children later)
get out the buggy from the shed
    [STRIKE]clean downstairs toilet[/STRIKE]
AT LEAST 300 words of my essay - I have some DVDs to watch that are relative to the subject matter as well. watched 1 section of DVD

I start work at midday with a nursery pick up, with Bubba arriving soon after, so I have no excuse this morning!

Ok - head down, let's get started!

    Valli - I hope you're wrong too :(

Hugs, sticks and vibes to all. I've lost track of who said what again :o

Flying didn't happen to the extent I had planned yesterday but I got all the washing done except for 2 blankets (1st of which is in the machine now ;)) and DD's curtains when I change them. I did manage to clear the majority of the ironing. I think I'm down to DD's hoodies/trousers and household stuff (tablecloths etc) which I'll do later :D

Today I need to get the christmas budget sorted out. I have limits for everyone I'm buying for, but I've lost track of how much I've spent on who. Time to find last years spreadsheet and tweek to fit this year! Ex text last night to say he's ordered DD's main gift, and we agreed on how much I owe him for it.

I had deliveries to make last night, and when I got back I realised I have 2 customers I've not contacted to say their stuff is here :o One I can do online through F.book, but the other hasn't put a contact number on her order so I need to go back through previous orders and see if I can find a number for her. I'm sure her number has changed though :o

    Personal:
    Update accounts
    Ironing
    Christmas budget
    Laundry
    Change DD's curtains
    Name label in school jumper
    Repair hem on pants
    Sort dads Gift!

I got the Hobbit extended blu-ray too! It's either for my Uncle or for DS.
I have an ostrich feather duster which has an extension pole and can be used as a long one, a really long one, or removed from pole and used as a hand-held. I ordered it last year from Ama7on for around £17 IIRC. I have just done the up high dusting with it now :).

Valli, hope you are wrong about being used :(.
Soappie, good luck vibes for your wished for event.
4 minutes to do something else. Think I need to remove ornaments and dust LR again, the sun is catching the dust a bit :o

PIGPEN; DS was telling me last night that the kindle fire is as good as an iPad (guess what he's after!). I don't know myself. We only use our iPad for surfing, gaming and apps which we can do on a kindle fire or any other tablet I suppose.
My nephew has a large Samsung Galaxy tab and my niece has a little Samsung notepad thing. Both are ideal for their needs but they are children.
TBH, I know that we don't use our iPad to the full potential :o
