Sorry, I am late, better late than never....Thank you for last week Dusty, closest I have got to a clean sweep in a long while :T. Natty thank you for this week, and I will try to keep the momentum going.

Favourite hoover is restored to working status again ;) although LR is still damp underfoot but is out of bounds for now so not too much gibble accruing in there.

Completely lost central heating yesterday, and had a partial fix today with a new pump, but there is a faulty valve in the system which is why the hot water is not travelling downstairs, but EX ran out of time to fix the second problem.....so no heat downstairs until next Sunday.

DD3 has just come upstairs to offer a brew, wearing 3 jumpers, her outdoor coat and a scarf as DS has commandeered the upstairs TV - bless her.

Right time to look at Listy and see what can go....
The cold never bothered me anyway

I'm in as much as I can.

Still no op for DF he now has something wrong with his kidneys as well.
He was scolded the other night with boiling hot soup. DM is not feeling well so I feel split between everyone.

    Welcome and well done, compbunny!

I'm not showing you my pics ;)

Actually, we're not too bad, I had a hhc before going to get DD. Both littlies went to bed early, I can't believe how tired they are all the time. So I've brought bedtime forward half an hour.

Anyway, I've whizzed around with duster & vac, and mopped all downstairs.

:rudolf: my books / CDs / DVDs have left the building :T I'll be honest, the counter is not clear, but the point was to clear the counter so I can put stuff on it rather than the floor :p ie the box with the screenwash and other car bits, the printer etc. I also dug out a few unwanted soft toys for the school fair later this week. And a bag of CS clothes has been collected this morning.

I'm going to get this bike out of my car and see what needs doing to it!

  • Well today went to pot thanks to a teething baby and work - will try again tomorrow.
  • I'm in again! Last week was a bit hit and miss as I had lots going on.

Back at work this week and didn't enjoy the 5:45 alarm! Even the dog didn't want to get up. But I did start my morning sorting the DW and WM.

Been back to the vet today - the dog has stopped limping with the meds so no further investigations required but we are to remain on restricted exercise for another day or two as he is now off meds and have to see how it goes.

List is going fairly well today:

Monday ~ Lovely Lliving Room, Happy Hall and Safe Stairs
    15 minutes...
    [STRIKE]Declutter all these areas[/STRIKE]
    Vacuum these areas
    30 minutes to spare...
    [STRIKE]Wipe/vacuum sofas[/STRIKE]
Clean windows in these areas, check curtains/nets/blinds while you are there, do they need a clean?
[STRIKE]Dust any areas below eye level[/STRIKE]
    Got an hour...
[STRIKE]Dust anything above eye level (if safe to do so)
Clear anything that shouldn't be where it is, should the magazines really be on the floor?[/STRIKE]
    [STRIKE]Binbag dance
    Tidy coats/shoes bags etc[/STRIKE]
Extra Mission Tasks~ if you want to do more
Check you have your Christmas card list done, if it's not done at least spend 10 minutes on it
Spend 15 minutes sorting paperwork, dealing with anything urgent NOW
[STRIKE]Spend half an hour doing something for yourself[/STRIKE]

Hoping to get one or two more things crossed off before bed :)

Well, I managed to get all of the washing done except for the whites. It's all folded and away now too :). I haven't stripped the beds as didn't think I'd manage to get it all through the machines today so will do tomorrow. Poor DS is in a sleeping bag for another night as there's too much wet paint around for me to start carting duvets and covers around.
Not seen anything worthwhile for us on black Friday deals. Will keep watching though. To answer a previous question, it stems from America. They have a flash sale on the Friday after Thanksgiving which is the 4th Thursday in November. Amazon have sales for a week. They started it over in this country in 2010. You can get some good deals and some are just meh.
