    Hi all.

Flying is a bit hit-and-miss at present as Mr LW is on two days' leave.

November Challenge, however, is coming along - I spent three hours yesterday weeding the files on the pc, tidying up what remained, and turning PaperPort files into Jpegs. The reason for this is that the ancient PaperPort scanner won't work on Windows 7, there are no drivers available for it (we've looked) so when the XP pc turns up its toes there'll be no way to read PaperPort files.

Anyways, that part of the Challenge is now complete, so I just have to transfer it all onto the backup flash drive, and decide which files to also put on the newer Windows 7 pc and which to put on the laptop. This will be time-consuming, but I can let it trundle along while I do something else, once I get it kicked off.:o

    Dusty how's things?

Piggers glad aging mog seems to be set to stay around a while longer.

  • Today's ironing done and put away
    Washing up WUDUPA
    LR dusted, coffee table polished
    Bathroom scrubbed, floor steam mopped
    WMx2, all on airer
    All bins emptied

Just going to razz the vacuum around the LR and halls before DS1 gets home.

  • Hi - was just replying to you all and lost the lot!!!!!

Well done on getting the Karcher deal _ I have one and wouldn't be without it. We also got TBBT set as a gift for DS who says every year I don't want anything - my Dad was just the same!!!

Reporting a very tired but pleased person here. I have just got the suite to hoover and two glass ornaments to wash and I have "winter cleaned" the whole lounge!!!!! Moved everything washed down paintwork and radiator, cleaned and polished furniture, hoovered around and under all, done high and low dusting incl light fitting and coving.
I used Karcher to clean the big bay window (5 panes to conservatory cill height) and small w and glass door or I would still be washing rinsing and polishing those yet!!!

Just having a coffee to ease my back which has "gone". Will try and complete all before tea. Didn't manage the hall so will do another day. Aren't we all doing well?:j

CompBunny Helllllllooooooooo. I'd be far too worried that my 'After' photos looked like everyone else's 'Befores' if you get my meaning. However, being a very nosy person, if you want to show us your chaos and sorted spaces, feel free.

Fridge and stairs finished. One lodger about to be decluttered, having given us the biggest box of m!Ik tray I've ever seen and a bottle of wine. Awwww. I did give him a couple of jars of 2011 chutney, but that was to get it decluttered rather more than extreme landlady generosity. :rotfl: I do like having lodgers.
    Better is good enough.

20mins removing clutter DONE. What a difference a single babystep can make!

I thought that taking before and after photos might help motivate me. I could explain what all the mess is and why its there, but lets be honest, there is no excuse! And the photos are supposed to be honest.

Apart form the dog water bowl, I feel the need to excuse that! Believe it or not, its the best place in our (very small) house for it to live!

Well done CompBunny.:T I notice in picture #2, the dog is carefully guarding his/her rubber toy, lest it too gets tidied away!:rotfl:

HB I like having lodgers, too - but they have to have four legs and fur, and go "woof".;):D

Compare bunny well done and welcome

Lamewolf, thanks for asking, no real change but RP is growling at Woody again so she is either feeling better or really fed up.

No progress on flying here but a lot of fat chewed in two friend's houses.

I need to find a receipt to take some expensive items back and am stumped where it has disappeared to.
