When I was doing Flylday from her site I treated myself to the ostrich feather dusters - the long one is brilliant for reaching high or low without climbing ladders as I'm not allowed to stretch above my head due to a health condition. They were expensive but worth it. Not sure if they still do them now?
Have agood week all. Now I'll catch up with the end of last week's post to see how you are all doing - take care xJuly 16 £95/£200

Thanks Natty, I'm in this week!
House didn't get touched last week except urgent stuff and you can tellSo today I am planning on tackling the entire house top to bottom using last weeks list. I need to run errands tomorrow or Wednesday, working Thursday and Friday will be spent trying to sort out my window display for this year as I plan to do it while DD is away this weekend
I finally managed to get DD something to wear for the meal last weekend. She picked a top & jacket from Mr A as the dress she really liked wasn't available in store! She went and borrowed my 'good' boots as hers had the toes kicked out of them, 'borrowed' a pair of hooped earrings (too dainty for me but were part of a set and I wear the others ones occasionally) as it was that or a set of pearl studs, and wore her school pants. Ex text me a pic of her before they left for the meal and I went  She looked much older than 12!!! I did my best to dress her her age, but teen ranges don't fit and the top choices were very limited once you took out revealing/see-through/winter-woolly ones. Apparently at the meal a member of staff went to offer DD wine and there was a chorus of "no, she's only 12!" from the family she was sitting with :rotfl::rotfl: We've agreed that she can have the dress (plus shoes & tights she saw on the website) as part of her Christmas pressies, but get them a day or two early so she can wear them on the day.
Now, since its nearly 9am and I have a massive to-do list I best get it written out here so I know what I'm doing!

So far, DW emptied and reloaded. Placemats returned to cupboard as someone left them on the side in the kitchen (and I didn't move them).
Shocking night sleep. Got up at 2am as was thinking. DH may be starting a business with his work mate and we met up yesterday to discuss. I didn't feel a lot of answers were resolved but was at the counter for a good 20 minutes getting a cup of coffee . So I got up and covered 3 A4 sheets of ideas, questions and suchlike. For example: Business name, DH said "We haven't got one yet..." You need a name before you open the business as you need a website for your orders to go through- Gah! HMRC... "We don't need to worry about that yet" YES YOU DO!
Sorry to rant!
Will delete as I go and update anything further I need to do too

Wash sofa covers as got coke kicked over them on Saturday
Vax lounge floor
Paint the base rail of banisters
DH to paint side return of banisters
Strip, wash and remake all beds (DS has spent 2 nights in a sleeping bag as he stripped his on Saturday and I STILL haven't got around to finding his duvet cover).
Shovel out hallway and Hoover really well. Wipe down skirting boards so DH can paint them this evening.
Remove all coats from coat rack.
Have bumped hall to tomorrow as can't get in there now.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

I think we spoke about this the other day when you told me how old DD is; I ordered some clothes for DD from Mr T yesterday and it's so hard knowing what she'll like as she's certainly transitioning to a 'tween' (awful word but described in between doesn't it!) I've been finding it really hard with her and we end up arguing/shouting so I've taken the first step and booked in to see the school parent advisor to get some help as I feel out of my depth and don't feel like she's my daughter - she's mutated into some strange being who I love desperately but don't feel I know:(.
Kaz OK I sound like a Numpty but what's Black Friday? No wonder your head was spinning from yesterday; it's bound to be on your mind. You're not ranting at all and those questions you have asked him are very legitimate - these things can't be ignored.
Just the two of us I saw the ostrich feather dusters on the Flylady site and glad you find them useful. Don't worry about the November Challenge - as you say you joined late; at least you gave it a go which is more than I did!
Sat under my SAD lamp with a second cuppa and just realised I've got the osteopath at 10.40 - glad I checked my diary!!Flymarkeeteer: £168 and counting0 -

Morning all.
Have small child off as he was coughing all night. He sounds really chesty. He had anti biotics a few weeks ago for the same thing. Have managed to get him an appointment at the gp later this morning.
Will do a HHC at 10 if anyone wants to join me.
