    :rudolf: The carpets are in!
I love it :D. I have put the furniture back into my bedroom and will get DH to help me make the bed when he gets home. He'll need to trim our bedroom door down tonight before he can re-hang it.
DS is sitting here with a strip of underlay wrapped around his head as it's warm! (weirdo).
Still need to put downstairs back together but need DH's car to load the rubbish into. Then I can hoover through down here :).

    Great news Kaz!

Went to school fair OMG it was awful. DD was shoved aside by boys twice her size try to get to the teddy tombola  I actually said "right the next one to push this tiny girl will get a shove back" :o they all left her alone after that. Silly s0ds what do they want with a bunch of little pink teddys. Duh. It was so crammed full nobody could see anything, hear anything, buy anything. We managed to sling our bag of biscuits to someone, and to buy a couple of Rice Krispie buns. Got in the queue to see Santa, but I said to DS will you talk to him? He said no, so we just left. :o

So, we've got the Polar Express on now :) DS would like to go but needs to know if there are toilets first :rotfl:
    Bossymoo

    Away with the fairies
  • shame the school fair wasnt very good Bossy, im sure little ones will appreciate polar express more than the crowds there.

Despite having a broken pump and a broken valve replaced on Central Heating, the boiler is still not working. Energy Saving Trust have made a referral to my energy supplier to fix/replace my boiler for free or at heavily subsidised rate. But downside is that I could be waiting 4 to 7 weeks

Got a very very small oil filled rad from @rgos which is just taking chill off the smallest bedroom......just peeved DS has managed to break a slat on each bunk bed by jumping on them  for a child who talks so much, he has very very poor listening skills.

Updated appointment list for next week, I only have Friday free without appointments next week, so not good.

ordered condolence card from moop!g for funeral I am going to next week.... I just couldn't face going into a shop and not finding anything suitable, especially if young Skints were having one of their moments!

Been to Dr's with DD4 for some steroid cream, collected my scrip for another month. Dr's are short handed at the moment so have limited appointments available each day, no guarantee of getting through on phones, so went and queued at reception 15 minutes before the release of afternoon appointments. The receptionist who served me at 2 o'c could only offer me a 3.20 appointment....she thought I was insane when I said we would stay and wait for the appointment, but it was soooooo nice and warm in the Dr's it was nice to take my coat off for a change. Shame I can't go and camp out in there until my boiler is fixed!

Rubbish and recycling all put out front ready for collection in the morning.

WM x 4, TD x 4....and I cleaned and cleared ONE worksurface in the Utility and the window above it.......going to go out there again in the morning (when it is not too cold) and get the other side completely clear if I can..........might have to take my little rad out with me and the young Skints, cos flying out there in my old knee length wool coat was hard going.

ETA took a bag of DD3 more gothic stuff that doesn't fit to charity shop.....also flung some religious clothing....quite holey :rotfl:

Going to take my long duster on a stick out to Utility as Incy Wincy has been making quite a lot of mess around my boiler, then I can risk giving it a wipe with a damp cloth
The cold never bothered me anyway

Pigpen, go to the homebuying renting and selling board for further info.......
I remember reading that it is law to ensure that tenants have heating. Who does she rent it from and why does she have no heating?
I *believe* she can contact the council for advice (maybe environmental health) but you can have a look at shelters website for good information.
