  • Horsepiddle today......registering 9.9 on the faceache scale:mad: lost the whole afternoon with head squashed in pillow with painkillers:( - worse still I am STILL not quite ready for surgery - I have 3 appointments now leading up to the next feasibility study which is beginning of March, so earliest chance to meet again with surgeon is going to be April.

No hot water for bathing, or heating now - looking in getting that sorted asap....for now I have switched electric immersion heater on so we have some luke warm water to wash with..... DD4 needs bathing before she changes her name from the young Skint to the young Stink!

DS managed to break another pair of glasses today, I have rung Specs@vers and they have reserved his frames so tomorrow I can pop in quickly and get the lenses switched over, and then they can adjust them after swimming for him.

Flying today will be online- getting some heat back in this house....I will leave the house to grumble on and try to keep the gibble down in the mean time

Monday ~ Lovely Lliving Room, Happy Hall and Safe Stairs

    I've got to:
    1. [STRIKE]Change three beds[/STRIKE], One down, two to go.
    2. [STRIKE]Clean the shower room,[/STRIKE]
    3. Vacuum four rooms,
    4. [STRIKE]Make a machine that won't work, work and[/STRIKE]
    5. [STRIKE]Reboil one batch of crabblie jelly that just won't do as it is. [/STRIKE]
    6. [STRIKE]Grr at forgetful self. I've got to add another urgent job. Go up to dreaded attic and get table down, as promised, to incredibly quiet and hard-working lodger who needs one in his room[/STRIKE].
One down, four (strike that) five to go. I don't live in an ideal world - the high tide just got higher and I can't deal with froggie emails etc until I've got my head straighter.

I feel a LOT better about today. The vacuuming either will or won't happen and I'm not that bothered if it doesn't get done until tomorrow. The really froggie things have all been done - the table's in the lodger's room, the crabblies are totally finished and the ice maker works.

And, to make my day complete, OH is taking me out on a date!
    Better is good enough.

Lame Wolf I think you have completed yours too?

im planning on getting the stuff thats done out tomorrow and doing all the bagging labelling etc and only have a couple of bits to finish it will all be done by friday (it has to be the craft fayre is on saturday!)

have been a bit of a slattern this afternoon came back home from work with a rotten sore throat and feel shivvery so ive sat with a hot chocolate and finished the book i was reading.

it is rather scarey that i could see little snippets of me in the main 'mum' character, slightly scatty prone to hanging on to stuff after its stopped being useful 'just in case' well it ends up with the family completely dessimated after a tragedy with no one speaking to anyone and siblings scattered all over the globe the mother ends up alone living in a house that should have been featured on the life laundry with tunnels and passages through her hoards of stuff where landings and corridors used to be:eek:
brilliant book and i really enjoyed it, just waiting for the email now asking me to do a review on it. (it was a freebie from a publisher thats why i needed to read it quickly)

off to get stuff ready for tonights meeting and feed the boys then ill grab a jumper tissues and shuffle out.

Been MIA for a while, I'm afraid. Suffering with severe pain in just about all of my muscles, can't dress myself, put my hands behind my back, etc. Have had blood tests and now have to go back to the doctor on Thursday to get the results. We've also had no 3 gs yesterday and today so very little flying down.

I need to keep with this forum to maintain my motivation, so hope you don't mind me posting when I've achieved very little.

Hope the doctor can suggest something to help with the pain and then I can make up for lost time. Christmas waits for no woman!

I spent the entire morning trying to sort my accounts out. Once I'd finished updating them I then had to sort cash out and I hate trying to bag up coins to pay into the bank. Especially when I am 1 or 2 coins short of a full bag.

Did some flying this afternoon but not much as I tackled the sewing repairs on DD's uniform which took a while since the hem on both legs of her school trousers needed stitching.

Oh well, I guess I'll just have to shift my backside tonight otherwise I'll never get the jobs done.
