Evening! I'm hoping to have thought of some flying I've done by the end of this post!!
Welcome to all the newbies.
Valli - really hope you can get things sorted x
Hugs to all poorlies (human and animal).
My naughty ratty has worked out how to undo the clips and flip off the lid of the little box containing their treats!!!
Some of you may remember a while ago I asked for thoughts for a pupil who was sectioned in the summer. I finally got to go and see her yesterday - she still has a long, hard road to travel so any further thoughts and prayers would be appreciated.mrs-moneypenny wrote: »it is rather scarey that i could see little snippets of me in the main 'mum' character, slightly scatty prone to hanging on to stuff after its stopped being useful 'just in case' well it ends up with the family completely dessimated after a tragedy with no one speaking to anyone and siblings scattered all over the globe the mother ends up alone living in a house that should have been featured on the life laundry with tunnels and passages through her hoards of stuff where landings and corridors used to be:eek:

note to self p 5
I knew something was 'up' but what has happened isn't *quite* as bad as I thought. However it might mean I am back to being a p/t flyer but not for a long while yet. Save your vibes for me for much later. And I REALLY REALLY appreciate the positive messages. Thank you all *mwah*
I've washed up, and put out my 'new' cushions; the 'new' curtains will have to wait. I'm rather glad to have the cushions as now there are 6 and they have more body in than my now-flattened ones. I do like it when my mum remodels!
I know they go with my sofas, because she has the SAME ONES *cue twilight zone music*.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Have done a few bits but not as much as I'd hoped!!! Hoping for better tomorrow xx0 -
I've done loads today!
. Hallway cleared and cleaned.
:rudolf: DH has painted the skirting and door frames in the hall.
We have lived in this house for 8.5 years and I noticed today that the skirting one side of the hall is ogee and the other is torus! That's hilarious. It was only as I was mothering to myself about needing about 4" of skirting to put by the front door and all the boards we have are torus and I know I've thrown away the scrap of ogee we had. Now I'm fine because it's on the torus side
.
DS has tidied his pit. DD has tidied hers.
Plan for tomorrow:
Christmas card list
Tidy a grotty cupboard in kitchen or DR although I *ought to do the utility room one as it's bogging.
Whatever's on the list (will check in the morning from the laptop)
Hoover kids rooms.
Tidy ours and get the ottoman from the end of the bed downstairs (it can go into DR until Thursday pm).
Get rid of all the bits to the tip with MiL's assistance.
