L you are funny ! Great minds clearly think alike, you wouldn't believe how many tummy bugs I have had in the last year, jsut to give me a few days off. I feel terrible as Im sure there are people reading this who would give their eye teeth to have their relative around to complain about in the first place, and who probably think I am genuinely uncaring, but believe me, this is an off the scale crazy situation. My sister left at 5 and I have been receiving message every 2 misn or so since and they still keep on coming ! xx

You make me blush Be Lucky !!But seriously that's not the case. We do what we have to do and in the grand scheme of things this is nothing compared to what you and many others do. I am just having a blip but I will get through it. I feel really embarrassed moaning like I have xxx

Once again don't apologise for coming on here and expressing your feelings. If you didn't have us to 'chat' to I suspect you would be a gibbering wreck in the corner. A problem shared and all that....

Glad you had a lovely time with your girls and boo to the constant messages. I had to face a bit of vitriol from mine tonight, it really does get you down doesn't it x

It does indeed Granny. My mind boggles as to how or why anybody would want to treat someone so badly. I'm really sorry you haven't had the best of evenings either.:(

So sorry for all that you are going through. I am in a very similar situation and I have told the person that I no longer accept her behaviour. I have not seen her now in 6 weeks but yesterday she got another family member to call me whilst she was there. A suggestion was made for me to speak to her and I refused stating my reasons. She then proceeded to shout down the phone, it has annoyed me immensely. Her behaviour is controlling me again.

So hang on in there you are not alone, you have all us to talk to. So many people in the same position.

I hope you got some sleep. I'm awake since after 5 because of yesterday. We keep going and put our husbands and children first.

Sweetpea thankyou so much for your lovely kind message. I hate to hear of others going through this as well. I honestly thought I was on my own as its controlling my entire life. I am so sorry that you are struggling also. You are so brave cutting the contact for now. Mr PG says that if she misbehaves I need to treat her like a child and take away her treats, ie her visits and entertainment. I haven't been able to do that as I know when I do eventually go again I wont be able to deal with the torrent of abuse that I can guarantee will be slung at me. Well done for taking the step although I can tell its not and still clearly isn't easy for you from you post. Please take care of yourself.

Nope I didn't get any sleep, I have been up since 3 but didn't go to bed until 1am as I was working, trying to catch up due to all the hours spent with her. I am completely exhausted. I have had to cancel an appointment today as my head is pounding and I cant think straight. It was with a new client and I am sure I would have looked a total idiot as I can barely hold my head up let alone hold a conversation. We have rescheduled for tomorrow, I just hope I manage some sleep tonight.

Getting off of the miserable subject of my relative, I am pleased to announce that not only did DD1 make the bus with time to spare, she actually got herself up and out of bed on time and without any jollying from me whatsoever !! I can confirm that in her 16 1/2 years this is a first !!! Long may it continue !! :rotfl::rotfl:

Just goes to show then when I am crashed out Zombie like on the sofa from sleep deprivation, nursing a cup of coffee that she can spring into action when she needs to !! Whoopeee !!!! xxxxx:j:j
