I have brought you a :xmastree: as I know you are always a very busy lady and may not have had time to put yours up on your diary yet...

Thank you for popping into mine and yes our dd's are the same age and going through the same 'UCAS' process.. Although it sounds like your daughter is either applying for highbrow uni's or doing a course where she has to prove she is able before they commit to an offer? I am very proud of my dd, but she will have to put the work in to get the grades or it all means nothing... we shall keep our fingers and toes crossed.

Sorry to hear about the Court case, hope all goes in your favour and you do get some time to relax and enjoy the festives with your fantastic family.

Mrs B and HoneyBear, I am thinking the same with as you re the Court Case. I would be surprised if they actually turn up, or file their papers or don't just pull out at the last minute. I think we have a really strong case, but what do I know and given our luck over the years I'm not getting my hopes up !

Everything was finished and posted off Special Delivery today, now we sit back and wait I guess. No point worrying about it all., there is Christmas to celebrate after all and I luuuuurve Christmas ! :xmassmile

Glad you got a few refunds Mrs B ! Shame you couldn't go on your family day out . 6 years eh ? Seems forever doesn't it, but look where you are now !

The girls are looking after me, DD1 cleaned the floors this morning and helped me get all the paperwork together for the Court. DD2 had a muck out of her room and they then both headed out with friends and boyfriends :eek: That left me in a nice quiet house to work. I find working primarily from home really hard in the holidays, so it nice when they go out and I can get on without any distractions.

Once I finish tonight I plan on doing some more wrapping. I must confess to buying a few too many presents this year, but we had a rubbish year and I just want to see everyone happy so I really don't care !! Come January it will be a different story,and my words will no doubt come back to haunt me, but for now I am going to embrace Christmas ! xx

Thankyou for the tree Puzzcat, I love it !! Mine is up, was a massive rush job, but I am pleased with it.The trouble is it seems to be drooping and the decorations keep falling off. I found a fair few on the floor this morning. Not sure what to do about that as it doesn't seem to want to drink its water. Lord knows what state it will be in come Christmas day ! :eek:

Nope nothing highbrow about the Unis DD1 is applying too :rotfl: ! Shes opting for Creative Unis so needs to show a Portfolio of work before they will consider her. Trying to get that together whilst getting on with her coursework is going to be another headache, but we will get there I'm sure. It all seems to be becoming all to real for her now though. Shes getting cold feet at the thought of living away from home and keeps changing her mind on her top choice of Uni. Number one choice is the furthest away but she informed me a few weeks ago that it isnt number one anymore as she doesn't want to be that many hours from home ! Suits me fine !! :rotfl:

I'm so glad you've been able to get that monster off your desk and out of your house in time to settle straight into Christmas. Great going, Mrs PG. While I'm here, I just wanted to say I hope you and the family have an absolutely wonderful Christmas and that goes for the new year as well.

Speaking of the Monster on my Desk as Honey Bear so eloquently calls it, it didn't take them long before they reared their ugly heads once more.

I think within minutes of our paperwork landing on their desk, they emailed to say that they wished to vacate the court case due to costs and that we needed to sign a Consent Order asap for them to send to the Court to get the Case vacated and file closed !!

Another bit of game playing on their part. :rotfl:

We aren't signing a Consent Order anytime soon......bring on the Court Case we say. Mr & Mrs PG VS PRAT

Remains to be seen if they file their paperwork by the due date ,which is tomorrow . Something tells me they wont !

Am thinking a Counterclaim for harassment could be on the cards here !
