 Yay she lives...:) Thanks for popping by...you do know how to live..One thought occurs to me though..do you know how to move down to second gear?
(clearly not...:)
Glad there is plenty of work but hope that you can ditch some of the chauffeuring soon.. Generally we make the kids walk or blade everywhere to their many clubs and activities (and usually by themselves)..I gather you're more rural but it does save on my nerves in the busy city traffic..I hate queues!

Hey Mrs B, I think I do know where second gear is, just been a hell of a long time since it was used. I will get there though by hook or by crook !!
DD1 is having driving lessons, so hopefully she will be able to assist with the Chauffeuring soon. Roller blading sounds a great idea, DD2 loves it still but sadly it wasn't an option where she needed to be this last week and she did take the train a couple of times if she was heading out during the day, but I still drove her to the station !
Hope all is well with you and the girls enjoyed their half term xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Good to hear from you Honey Bear. Am frantically treading water here.
Wrote a stonking six page letter yesterday to the Predator in response to their full and final settlement offer, which they say is to avoid costs. They appear to have realised that it will cost them far more to take us to court than the debt is actually worth.
Court have stayed until February and we have accepted mediation in the meantime but I am hoping this letter may do the trick and they will back off. We wait with baited breath ! xLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Well fingers and toes crossed re the Predator. 6 pages..you go girl :T
Yes blading is not to be recommended over about 2 miles so your 2 are let off
We had a great half term..much needed too, thanks. I hate the alarm going off all the time and it was a much needed restMFiT-T4 Member No. 96 - 2022 is my MF goal

Once I started I just couldn't stop ! Its a bit like when I speak really , it just goes on and on :rotfl:
Glad they are let off of the blading, although DD2 has become partial to a bit of walking, she says it gives her time to think. School is really getting her down, its those GCSE pressures that we all know and love.
I think I must have been the only person still setting an alarm in half term, crazy fool that I am ! Really glad that you managed a rest Mrs B xxLBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

Morning Mrs PG,
Good to hear that you are still manage to keep afloat whilst speeding along at 80mph. Good news a bout the court stay too, and good luck in the mediation.
Remember the stresses of GCSE/GCE years well, DD used to rake leaves when it all got too much!
Hugs

Funny you should say that NooOne, I have had DD2 off of school for a couple of days, think everything that's happened recently has got a bit too much for her including school. Trying to calm herself down the other day, she announced she was going for a walk to collect leaves ( rather than rake them !) When she came home she made a huge picture out of the leaves she had collected, gluing them all onto a page and then writing motivational quotes in the gaps she had left ! It actually looked really pretty and she declared that it was very calming !
I thought my days of the girls gluing and sticking in the kitchen were over but it appears not as she has been doing it every day since !
I think leaves must have healing powers !! :rotfl:LBM July 2011 - Finally took control Nov 2011 DFD Sometime in the distant future !

The days of gluing and sticking are never over Mrs PG! At nearly twenty, she still does it! She also colours (she recently bought a couple of those adult meditative colouring books). Leaves are very therapeutic...
when they were toddlers we spent hours in the garden raking, then running through them in wellies rustling them, collecting them, making collages etc.
DD has a notebook she sticks pictures she like in, and collects quotes in (very useful as a English lit student) :-)
Happy Leafing :-)

I still love kicking piles of crispy dry leaves even though I'm in my forties. I'll go out of my way to do it. It is so satisfying. OH pretends he's not with me though.
