Yep I totally agree Honey Bear. They refer to page two of certain documents but we haven't been sent a page 2, they have typed a mock up of Notice of Assignment but forgotten to date it, we have never set eyes on a default notice and refer to various points ( ie point number 4) in the Terms and conditions yet have failed to provide us with those. We will see how we get on. We have alot of personal bits going on just now and have asked them for some leniency and to delay the Court Mediation and / or the Hearing whilst we get ourselves together but we are still waiting to see if they agree.

The very best of luck with all of this Mrs. PG:)

I know I said I couldn't really decide on my feelings about 'unenforcables' and as a rule I can't. However, when you spell out these basic incompetencies it can make us feel quite angry can't it? Possibly extremely angry  !!

I pushed Wronga on this until they finally gave up the fight. They offended me with an unfair and ill-thought out plan so I drew my sword.

Knock 'em dead my dear :T

  • Hi everyone,

Thought I wold post quickly, just read your messages above. Thankyou.

As far as the Court Malarky goes, thats becoming a bit of a pain. They agreed to allow of "stay " while we sorted things out here and got our heads together. PRAT advised us they were in agreement, we had to also let the Courts Office know . We called them, they said email us. We did nd enclosed a copy of the letter from PRATs solicitors agreeing as well. They acknowledged receipt of it. Yesterday they emailed us to say that they now weren't dealing with the case as it has been allocated to our local Court. Grrr. Today a letter in the post arrived to say that they had been trying to contact us for mediation but couldn't get hold of us , so it has now been referred to the Courts for a hearing date. So basically as usual noone seems to know what the hell is going on. As far as we are concerned noone has made any attempt to contact us about Mediation, although we said we would give it a go. In the meantime the whole thing should have been stayed for now, so lord knows what occuring. Thats one to deal with on Monday now I think, as the right hand doesnt seem to know what the left is doing.

With regards to other stuff, the signature is looking ok, we are down to 30 K . Whoop Whoop !!

But as far as everything else, things are pretty dire. Mum passed away last week, after a horrible illness which has meant the last nine months has thrown everything off kilter financially and has knocked everyone for six. The illness did explain some of her exhausting behaviour since we lost my dad , which those of you that have been reading for ages and ages will know that my dad passed away just under two years ago, and things have been very very tough ever since. So now both of my parents have gone, which is a very very strange feeling. I'm doing ok, as are the girls, but its the little things where it hits home. When the girls get ready to go out, I always take a photo and send it to them, exams results or achievements at school they always ring them. DD1 got a job interview the day after mum passsed away that she had been hoping for, but really noticed it as she would usually call them up to tell them her excitement. The interview was yesterday , we think she did quite well and should fit in well around her studies. Mr PGs parents are fairly absent from our daily family life, so it will be a big adjustment in the PG household that's for sure. We are tough cookies though and we will all bounce back, the last my parents woudl want is us upset and dwelling so I am encouraging the girls to carry on as best as they can and have fun. We are currently planning the funeral, I didnt expect to be arranging another so soon. :(

So my post today is a little sad I'm afraid, but we will dust ourselves down and pick ourselves back up in time, and when my head will allow me to deal with the whys and wherefores of the Court we will continue to fight them. For now though, I cant be bothered, its just too exhausting and couldn't have come at a worse time.

Anyway I hope to be back and posting again soon, even if its only occasionally.

Love to you all, hope everyone is well and happy xxx

I lost both of my parents a few months apart in the same year.

Keep strong all of you :). You have almost won the debt fight so don't let PRAT worry you at all - they are nothing.

The absolute hardest of times I know :(. It sounds like you are totally in control as we would have always thought you would be.
