Greed no doubt but it was the vet's greed (mega money for the op regardless) that killed my dog. My "greed" is only taking action against my vet who has breached the requirement in the Sale of Goods and Services Act.

Spoke to my previous insurers yesterday. They have taken all the information over the phone and had no problems in taking my case on. I must say I am quite impressed as they are no longer my insurers and it took me over 1 year to notify them of possioble claim ( I was not even aware I had legal cover) but as the incident had happened while I was insured with them they are going to honor that.

Have you emailed the insurers as directed earlier in this thread?

This was done over the phone as I had no idea what their e-mail address is. In fact my old policy has been thrown away but I have remembered the name of the brokers and they were able to trace my old policy and put me through to the legal team. They said their solicitor will make a contact with me via e-mail on Monday or Tuesday.

You've totally lost me now. Did you contact them to say that you will accept their offer plus the surgery fee of £400 odd or whatever it was?
