Out of interest, and you may already have covered this, but what advice did the barrister give you?0

Shall we split the difference and say the Cambridge ones became more famous?
I think there could have been some at Oxford, but the KGB probably had more luck at Cambridge...0 -

I saw him very soon after Maxi’s death. The reason I have chosen him was because he was also qualified vet and I thought he can tell me what had happened to my dog. I already had most mortem report and other documents that my forensic vet had and I have supplied him all of this. However very soon into our meeting I knew that he was not going to say anything against the vet I was very disappointed however he did say I will not get anywhere with RCVS and he was right up to this point.
As I said they care for their own, I was very lucky to find the forensic expert who did not mind giving me the true opinion.0 -

To be honest my hubby did go to Oxford uni but I think my brain is that lilltle better then his and he knows it.0 -
How did you calculate that?
So, that's £1177.78 you spent on "advice", yet you've also left out the 40 pages of help you've been given on here. If I'd realised that everyone else was billing you for it, I would have too!
How much of that advice told you that you should sue and you would definitely win?
You have missed Maxie's creamation.0 -
You have missed Maxie's creamation.
No, I didn't miss it, that is a value which is fixed and definite. You had to spend that. What I am interested in was how you arrived at the "economic value" for Maxie. Once you answer that one, then I'll explain the second point I was querying.1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?0 -

That is how much I have paid for him when I have bought him for my mum. That is what they call economic value since in this country my dog is a "thing"0
