I have received good advice on this forum, and it has been good to know how other people feel but they have not been in this situation before nor have I. I was shocked how littlle/nothing one can do about negligence so what I am doing is it fighting the system. If I get nowhere at least I will rattle "their cage "

Yes you have, unfortunately you've chosen to ignore it!
  • Darn. Ms BoPsie took me for lunch at the pub yesterday and I missed all the excitement. Must try harder not to miss any thoughts in the coming days!

The thing is hachette by your own professed standards you have failed to take adequate care of animals under your care, and yet you want to stick in a claim....perverse or what?

That's a bit ott. OP fell foul of something that a lot of chicken owners do. Her problem with the vet is that the vet went through years of training and discharged an animal who was not ready to be discharged.

    Yawn!!!!!!!

    How rude.

OP had a pet she cared about, don't you understand that? If she wants to go on about it, then that's her perogative, no harm, leave her alone!

Do you ever talk sense? What is it with all this pirate rubbish? I've seen several of your posts and can hardly make head nor tail of them - what's the point of making them??

I would like to say something.,firstly I did not intended to use this forum as a therapy. My dog died on 14/12/12 I have never posted about what had happened to my Maxie on this forum until October 2013, that was after the system( RCVS) had failed me. That is when I have asked for the opinion of others. This is now about standing up to professionals who think nothing can touch them as I have found out by making a complaint to RCVS and it was dismissed as they always cover for their own. I have decided to prove them wrong no matter how much it will cost. Still waiting for their reply the letter was written to the DC chairman. What the insurers are going to do?? Whatever, I am happy to go to court

Good for you hachette, without people who 'stick their heads above the parapet' and keep shouting and don't give up, things never change for the better!
Mover and shaker - good for you! x

Some battles are not worth the effort. This is one of them.

You've been told the reason multiple times before why it is not worth it - you want the vet to admit they made a mistake. They are never going to do that.

At best, you might get an ex-gracia payment from the insurers to cover your costs - but there will be no admission of guilt/liability etc.

At worst, you will bankrupt yourself with legal fees.
