I can't deny I'm finding it all very confusing now and might miss quite a few dailies which I've enjoyed doing before. But, I'm sure I'll get used to it. THANKYOU again :T x

Yes, they are supposed to be posted just like dailies - so on the main board first, then a link to that post in the advents.

I am a bit confused with these changes, I've read through this thread and I'm none the wiser if I'm being honest.

So, is everything being listed on the main board too? Will comps still have closing times listed in the title if they finish before 23.59? Are the mag dailies now run like the advents where you have to click through to another post before you get to the site?

I just looked at layla's RC thread and I knew there were a lot but by crikey, it'll be a braver person than me that tackles those dailies!

Sorry if I'm being thick, but I think it's going to take me a couple of days to work out where everything has moved to. I thought the system was ok before and I had real trouble this evening finding the Click to Win comps which I just fancied have a go at.

Personally I didn't do the mag dailies every day but dipped in and out, entered the ones I wanted to if I had time. I thought they were easy to find if you wanted to venture there. A high value prize for one person (like a £600 pushchair) might not be considered so for another so where do you draw the line?

On another note (please correct me if I'm wrong as I'm not responsible for posting on daily threads) all this work posting comps here, there and everywhere by everyone sounds like it's turning into a full time job rather than a being nice volunteer role.

I don't usually have an opinion on this board but... I'm really unimpressed with how it's set out now. Having to click on one link, to then be taken to another link, just to access the bloomin comp.. For an Avid daily comper (( regardless of how BIG or Small the prize is )) its going to take me absolutely ages to open link another link after link... Then shut down all them links afterwards...
I'll still be daily comping when all the BIG prizes have disappeared, will everyone else??
Just a thought.
And someone else suggested, why couldn't people have just bookmarked the thread, had a little look through each day, see if there was anything they fancied, if not, leave alone. This is what I did and it was quick and easy.

Well, that's my thought of the day.

Totally agree. Even if the mag dailies are being posted individually on the main board, there is absolutely no reason not to continue with direct links from the sticky. As far as I recall, changing this was never even mentioned in discussion.

Agreed. The extra effort all the posters are having to go to seems ridiculous when they already have a huge amount to do. Wouldn't it just be easier for everyone to have a quick glance through the mag daily thread now and then to see if there's any prizes they'd like to enter? That doesn't seem like much effort compared to what the posters are having to go through at the moment.

Absolutely. In an ideal world, I would have all the comps that fit my criteria for entering emailed to me in a nice neat form so I just had to do a fewc clicks and be done. Better still, perhaps they could be entered for me!

Surely there is some onus on compers to make proper use of the forum and take responsibility for what they do and do not find. I have never used the Puzzler thread, and may be missing out on something, but that is down to me and I'm sure I could find it if I bothered to look.

Again, not having a go at anybody in particular, but concerned about the number that want the board tailored to their specific requirements.

I absolutely agree.. I have only just found the Puzzler thread.. And that is only because I saw someone talking about it. I actually couldn't FIND the thread, I SEARCHED it ... And I still find it difficult, but I'll live.

Someone commented thEre should have been vote on the change... (( can't remember who )) ... And I have to agree with them. But, what is done is done I suppose.
