So thats about another 200-300 threads on the main board at any given time for the click to wins? (Assuming that someone is willing to post them).0

Yeah and growing all the time.
I've expressed my opinion and given I'm not a regular poster it's probably time for me to stop.
I would urge Glad and whoever is in charge to rethink this current strategy though. It appears you're just appeasing a few vocal posters rather than doing what's best for the board.
Adding all these extra comps to the board is going to add time and it's going to make things worse for people who have limited time. People with limited time are better off concentrating on the main board rather than the dailies. That's why a separate thread made sense so people could avoid them if that was their choice. Also, as I said before the people who post the comps said it was a lot easier for them which should surely matter a great deal.0 -
Thanks to Jambodaveprince for volunteering.
With the Advents due to start very soon, and everyone up to their necks in comps, can we not leave things as they are and see how people feel after Christmas when they've had a chance to cool off.2014 Losses - Front Door Key, Premier League, Luis Suarez0 -
I personally loved the mag / click to win thread as it was efficiently run and clear. As somebody who chooses not to enter FB, TW, RC comps and daily , weekly comps I found my comfort zone with just entering the mags and also some others that appealed to me on the main board. I thought when i started comping that these different threads were for personal choice and enter at your own choice. I think all the prizes on mags/click to win are great no matter how big or small , and as somebody with limited time to enjoy my 'hobby' found this a great format that I could go straight to and enter. I dont take my 'hobby' too seriously nor worry about time constraints to enter as many as possible. Love the banter in CCC love IWIWIW showing everyone's wins in whichever comp they've entered.
:) Where is the mag daily/click to win now please? Many thanks to all mag posters it is/was appreciated:) Oh by the way as I have been venturing out of my comfort zone this eve - what is a gleam widget?

So the mags are on the regulars board now, being done by jambodave.
Layla is doing both dailies and rafflecopters threads on the regulars board but unsure about the click to wins.0 -

My 2p is that I was unimpressed when the mag dailies all went onto one thread as I can't comp often and am very much a "main board comper." I didn't like the thought of one rule for one set of comps and another for the rest. However I am now 100% converted and now like taking a break from all the clicking on the main board and just firing up the mag daily thread and whizzing through them. The thread was clear and easy to find and understand.
IMO what it boils down to is whether MSE makes it easier for those perhaps not so savvy and confident with the forum software to whiz about and find what they want (and do this by making sure all comps have one thread each), or do they make it easier for the users that volunteer hours upon hours of their time to post the comps that attract a lot of users (i.e. by keeping the one thread format)? Although the former group will by far and away be the largest I'd say MSE should do what the regular contributors want to do, personally. Otherwise we may find these comps don't get posted at all.0
