Everyone happy with the Moto g so far ? Any problems at all ?0

My wife's moto g is going very well. She doesn't exactly overtax it though. My son is thinking about getting one as well, and I'm sure he will place more demands on it - but so far so good.0

I started to get distortion in the earpiece when taking calls.I sold it and now have the Moto x.Very similar looking but slimmer & with 4g.
I have to say on these phones, the battery life is great.Easily lasts the whole day whereas my old IPhone 5 would barely get past lunchtime before dying.0 -
Superb phone, very happy with it over the last couple of months. One tip, though. Try not to let the battery completely drain as it can be a bit of a pain to get it charged up again. But overall this phone has redefined the budget smartphone market imo. Shame Google seemingly only ever bought Moto to fire a warning shot to 'errant' Android phone manufacturers like Samsung so I'm suspecting it's the end of the line for game changing phones like the Moto G now they have sold it off...0

In the end even I sucumbed to temptation even though I have nice Huawei Y300.
I am thinking of using the Y300 with my Ovivo sim for calls, texts, and a bit of data while on the move locally eg transport apps
And getting the Three 3 2 1 card for the Moto G, for when I want more reliable data eg when away from home in the UK and when using WiFi. Am thinking of putting all my music in the Moto G as well.
I decided on the 16 Gb Moto G. The best deal for this at the moment seems to be Phones4U. £150 with £10 topup and free 1 year subscription to Gourmet Society with £6.50 cashback from TCB or Quidco. I will donate the £10 topup to charity so this is not wasted. This brings the price back to £140, minus £6.50=£133.50.
If we say the annual Gourmet Soc membership (notional price is around £70, but you can always get it somewhere discounted) is worth £30, this brings the price down to £103.50.0 -

I am thinking of buying one of these as a present for my son. He's in his early twenties but still manages to drop phones constantly.
Regardless of the final size of the thing can anyone recommend an armour plated style case for this?0
