I let pip sleep in until about 10, which was the right thing. We have since been to the Dr and after that to the walk-in x-ray department for an internal pic of pip's pinkie. The pinkie is now attached to the ring finger to help keep it straighter.

4.1 miles trotted today, plus a sesh at the gym in the middle. 10000 steps by 10am today. Plus I saw a friend at the gym and her first Q was how was the funeral. She's a good friend, even though we only see each other at the gym 🥰.

I have treated myself to a 16k kettle bell and 3 lightweight exercise tops and wristbands to stop the kettle bell hitting my wrist bones. From decathl0n.

Pip went to see the Barbie film again. They did enjoy it but not nearly as much as the first time. At least it didn't cost as the friendwho invited pip along was using the meeeerkat 2 for 1 ticket thingy.

I think that I am finally starting to relax. From school. It's nice!

One major benefit of family who we've not seen in years coming to visit is that we have done a huge clean and tidy up. We have so much floor available to use! And we can sit on the sofas! It is awesome 😎

Another little trot today, just 1.9 miles, to the gym. Plus a workout. Plus a walk halfway home (I then got the bus!). Achey legs, but in a good way.

I've been paid all I'm owed for my exam marking. Plus all my expenses were approved. One more pay check from that place on the 28th and then I'm done and dusted with possibly only a couple of hundred (at most) coming in before Christmas.

Pip's bouldering is paid up to half term; dance is paid for the whole term (2 classes on a Sat + 2 on a Thurs). There's no lamda as they don't run it for y11.

My gym + counselling (one DD each per month) will obviously carry on. My charity giving will drop to around £0 from October.

Therefore, I shall endeavour to eke out my current account for as long as I can: food, travel + stuff.

Ooh, I'll now need life insurance, unless I pop my clogs in the next 20 days...

Our house is tidier than it has been in yonks🤣 I love the space!

We have had a fab day with Oz rellies #2 and their 2 toddlers. And I'm now bushwhacked! Pip has requested a lie in until 11 tomorrow morning, which seems fair to me. We're seeing them again on Sunday afternoon, then dh will take them to the airport.

I've recently discovered v1nted. Oops. But what a treasure trove of goodies!!!

A level results today. And I didn't go in. Yay.
