Pip's had a much better day. 🎉 Thank you beanie xDH came home Mon night rather then Tues morning 🎉. But he was wrecked and slept until 10. He still needs a few quiet days to recover. Before anyone else woke up this morning, I went to liddle, picked a big tupperware of blackberries, and about half as many rasps from the garden. Then made stewed blackberry, apple and rasp. I've frozen most of the rasps, to enjoy them in the wintertime. It didn't take me long to pick the blackberries, and I only went to one small location, so I'm planning to return in a couple of days and get more, as well as look elsewhere.Tomorrow pip and I are heading to the great metropolis that is Lunnon, so visit the Tate modern. Pip has a tonne of art work to do and visiting a gallery (and spending houuuuuurs sketching) is one of them. I did look for ones much nearer home, but they proved elusive. It'll only take about an hour to get there, and is 1 bus and 1 train. Dh is staying home🤣.Knitting is progressing. I have 4 Hello Kitty bodies and 1 Harry Potter body so far. I might take some mini penguin needlefelting for the train, as it's only 3 different colours and I already have several naked penguin bodies...🐧🐧🐧NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Hope you both enjoy your day in the city.Made it to mortgage free but what a muddle that became
In the event the proverbial hits the fan then co-habitees are better stashing their cash than being mortgage free !!1 -
We had a good time in the big smoke. Pip got enough material for their hwk task and we got there and back within 5 hours. I am now officially cultured! No penguins got clothed, but I have completed another Harry body.Tomorrow, I plan to go to the gym very early, get a good scrub up in the shower, and be primped ready to invig at 1pm.Current dilemma: am £15 short of hitting the 10% off coupon at liddle. But the cupboards are all pretty full. And I'd never spend £150 there in one go, which would equal the amount I'd have to spend to get the discount. So, should I bother? I think I've solved my dilemma myself, thanks you very much 🤣NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Yep, beanie! We are of one mind on this.I want sept to be a low cost month as regards food spends. We have so much in the cupboards, I just need to plan ahead. And give dh enough meat every so often, for him not to notice 🤣.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!1

I made it to 4 miles of waddling along today 🏃. Plus a 'hit the legs hard' heavy kettle bell workout in the middle 🏋️.This afternoon, I spent a happy couple of hours invigilating. Just after that, I found 'my' pink sandals, new, on v1nted for a fraction of the price. So I've bought them! As I put mine on today, to go invigilating, I realised how worn down the soles are.The calendar for September is looking decidedly empty so far. Pip has the most activities in the week.I have a few plots and plans, but they'll have to wait until tomorrow 😎.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Tightwaddery with a sprinkle of alchemy is the aim for September. And crafting. Lots of crafting. For fairs towards the end of the year.Washing load #5 for the last 2 days is nearly dry on the line. We shall have clean clothes to wear!Pip and I had some friends over yesterday and we went for a walk in the woods. Perfect for the sunshine, and just what my legs needed after doing about 3.5 miles or waddling in the morning.Pip is at school tomorrow, and not exactly relishing the prospect... Dh has some CPD to attend in the morning. Me? I have a couple of things to drop off at pip's school and that's about all
. My current plan is run, gym, craft, read.
