I was very glad I'd done stuff yesterday as there was rather a lot of rain overnight.
Today started around midnight, with an hour with pip, who had abdominal pains. Thank goodness for busc0pan.
So it was a gentle start later on, with my coffee. I put most of the new storage bench together and finished it once DH got home. We Heath Robinsoned a couple of things and it fitted nicely in the place the old one had been. I put the stuff for storage back in it and after a general tidy up, we now have a suitably large pile for the tip! That's a job for tomorrow ...

So I got up earlyish and had a good gym sesh.
And the tip trip got done too. An old bench (cos if we kept on keeping it while we waited to get a new one, we'd never get the new one cos we already had something to sit on!), garden waste, the old plastic storage box thingy that was broken, some rubble and stones, a couple of bits of rotting wood, the cardboard box the new bench storage came in, some non recyclable waste. All gone!
And I've put in for my expenses from my trip to Mancunia last month. About £170 please.
Tomorrow I need to get stuff out to the ch shops - there are several bags of clothes.

Today we have dyed pip's hair. It hasn't turned out how we wanted it, but they are ok with that.
4 big bags of stuff to the Ch shop plus one bag of rags. We did pick up some trainers for pip for £1, and I got some button up jeans that I've cut down for shorts. Plus a few books o:).
    Laundry, of course.

Very sensible!  It sounds good actually.  But how on earth are you still putting on the inches, with the amount of exercise you do, you're so dedicated!

Hi hope you don’t mind a newbie commenting

just wanted to say well done on the mortgage free and from what bits I’ve seen you have had a very busy time recently so I hope you can rest and relax soon

we are mortgage free but only because FIL paid it off for DH 40th birthday after his mum passed away so felt a little off celebrateing it tbh.

We been married 20 years and in same house whole time and have 18 year old doing a apprenticeship to become a teaching assistant, DD is anxiously waiting for GCSE results and 14 year old with special needs (fragile x but no one’s ever heard of it)
due to his needs I don’t work which is ideal as due to this I don’t get much sleep and can’t do a lot of housework while he’s around

anyway I hope you don’t mind me joining in and I hope you will be happier in whatever you do next work wise x

Hello Crazycatlady2, thank you for popping by. It's always lovely to have visitors. Do you have your own thread?
We're back home after 5 days of truly British camping weather. It is wonderful to be warm and dry and not be walking over 20k steps each day for a bit. And we weren't even camping (though pip was), just on site from 7am until 10pm.
Pip went straight upstairs to chill in their room. I also went straight upstairs, and fell asleep for 2 hours!

In liddle this morning, I bought grapes, blueberries, 2 apples, 4 pears, cauli, courgette, iceberg + romaine lettuce, rocket, toms, red pepper and potatoes.
Then they brought out the f+v boxes and I snaffled 2! So I also bought:
    11 nana
    8 carrot
    5 shallot
    5 satsuma
    3 nectarine
    2 punnet strawb
1 punnet big apricot 8 fruit
    1 punnet plum 8 fruit
    1 punnet vine toms
    1 avocado
    1 aubergine
    1 small pointy cabbage
    1 spindly courgette
    1 yellow pepper
    1 small red pepper
1 bunch dehydrated spring onion (now in water)
1 grapefruit (to go to neighbour along with aubergine)
    1kilo baby potatoes
    1 pack green beans

I also did a good gym sesh, especially good after spending an hour with a very upset pip at midnight.

    I'm a happy apple 😎
