Don't laugh, but  I'm popping into work on Fri,as a  lovely colleague has offered me her needlefelting sewing machine. Or something like that. And we're also going to go through what is left in the old DT teacher's cupboard of her textiles stash. I'm excited!

Today I have acquired a lot of stuff...

First of all I gained a toddler slide, see-saw and ride-on Thomas as well as 2 toddler garden chairs. Free. Then I went to school (no worries, f0xh0les, I avoided all the traps - management are both away for a while ) and came away with a fab sewing - ish machine from a colleague, and a lot of crafting bits and bobs from the old DT area. And a huuuuge load of stuffing for my needlefelting.

I have also received an extra 50 scripts to mark for one component plus 50 per tier for my other one. More pennies in the purse And that's my weekend sorted!!!!!

Pip has now finished too so we can breathe easy and relax. DH has 2 more weeks, oops.

July was supposed to be the tidy-the-house-we-have-2-toddlers-coming month and all I've done is fill it to the gunwales. Tomorrow, I'll start. Yep, those famous last words...

We all had a lovely lie in today. I had over 10 hours of slumber! Dh even brought me my coffee in bed

I took pip to dance and for the first time, left them there and went to the gym. I usually wait in the car, just in case, or go around the local ch shops. I had a good sesh plus a shower, luxury!

And home to catch up on the Tour and do some marking while pip chilled upstairs and dh was out doing PA for a wedding then back to a friend's house for a munch and natter.

Tomorrow I ned to start on my 2nd bunch of 50 extra before anyone else is up.

8/49 so far. I woke up at 6.17. Why????? So I got up.

I feel your pain. 5.30 am. Wide awake. Lay silently swearing at the birds, caved in and got up at 6.30, baked a vanilla bougatsa and waited for DH to get up at 8.30 to have breakfast together.   Going to be leaving for work at 6.30 all next week.
 It was my last chance for a lie in until 24th July. I feel I did not swear enough at that bird  🐦

Last night I slept very soundly until about midnight and then very badly until 5 when I dreamed that I had to get up! So I got up and came downstairs and snoozed on the sofa until about 7 when the neighbours were noisy and dh came downstairs to see if it was me making the noise!

38/49 now marked. The end is in sight.

Today pip and I did some tidying and created a big pile of paper for recyc 😎.

I got 3 loads of laundry washed and 2 dried outside. It's due to rain overnight so the third lot is on the airer.

I gave up with the /50 marking and went back to the other, finishing up all the scripts for one question. I only have the two hard questions to do now...
