Well, the cloak and dagger / smoke and mirrors approach from SLT is just infuriating/hilarious. I alternately want to march in and challenge them, or just sit back and wait. Wheels within wheels... And in the end, I'm none the wiser. Ugh.

Fair on Sat + no car for me on Sat = a need to get everything sorted today in order to take it in tomorrow when I do have the car. Except that when I got home today, anticipating a quiet evening of sewing + getting ready + marking, pip asks if we can go up to the art + 3D show at their school. So off we trundled and it was fab.

But home and not much nearer being ready! Fortunately, my last sort through meant that I just have to take the shallow stacker boxes tomorrow (even if some of the contents are Christmassy...), and I have a previous list on my phone of stuff to take along, so hopefully I won't forget anything major on Sat.

Neighbour is in a loud mood. And she smokes cigarettes that really stink. In her upstairs. By the windows. With the windows open. So we hear everything. And get all the stench. Oh joy.

I start the happy pills tomorrow. I know it'll take a while to make a difference. But at least I can make a start at last.

DH had mad 'whooshes' on them (sertraline? quite a mild dose as well), and found a jar of marmalade really really funny one morning, and got the giggles every time he brushed his teeth (???)  but it only lasted 48 hours or so before it calmed down a bit.  So the weekend  is probably a good time to start, but he said he would not have been happy driving on them for the first 48 hours. 

Good luck, I have everything crossed for you.  He has been off them a couple of months now, and he puts the whole thing down to work stress. 

I still feel guilty about not being able to fix him, but it was obv a stress related chemical imbalance in his brain.... I am good, but not even I could fix that one.

My sympathies with a loud neighbour and I hope you have a brilliant time at the fair.  And that the happy pills do what they're supposed to do, without any side effects.

I am getting fed up of waking when the hour starts with a 5...

I've been up for an hour already...

But I'm having a relaxing time so far, with no one else up and about!

23/200 left to go. Deadline is next Sat. Still some admin to do once marking is complete. But the end is in sight. Yay.

I heard the Territorial Blackbird shouting his beak off at 4am, then was woken up by a car revving ?????? but it was light, so read for what felt like a couple of hours, and came downstairs and it was just before 8am.  I took my watch off last night so had no idea what time it was except Tweety Bird is just a total lout every morning at that time.

Well done on that marking! You sound positive today.

I have just spent over 2 hours trying to purchase another train journey to and from Mancunia (for my second component to mark) cos ticketsplitty people emailed me to tell me that one of my trains up was not happening. It's not even on a bl00dy strike day.

Now, after 35 mins on the phone with sis with us both looking at the same website, I was left to just book. Then the website started being all clever and screwed it all up. So I had to start again. Dh said to use a normal tab and a private one, to stop the shenanigans. And that worked. Phew.

Then came the payments. One return journey on one card and the other on another as each time, the other card was rejected. Why???????

Anyhow. It is now, hopefully sorted.

What a blimmin yuk end to a fair old day.

The fair went fairly well, and I made £58, though it did get cold and windy and a bit rainy! I left the house with sun cream on and on the bus journey, the clouds all gathered their forces together! But I sold stuff and chatted with a few nice people. The HT and Dep Head turned up, but neither came to speak to me. (rolly eyes smilie, please).

No marking tonight - all brain cells fried and all anxiety levels at their max. Sigh.

Tomorrow is another day.

Sounds a pretty tough day, all in all, but I'm glad you got to see some people, and made some money too - people are paying out hard earned cash for things that you've made (this is your craft work, right?)  That's got to be a good feeling, when you look at it

I have 3 left on my huge centre, another centre of 10, and any associated paperwork. I'd like it all done and dusted by Tuesday... Which should be possible.
