Gosh, you work hard at the marking.  And as for next year, when you're not sure how many days they'll spread your hours, well, you can make requests, and you can negotiate too.  I hope you will.

But right now, have a lovely weekend!

The marking has a tight schedule and I've made mine tighter by wanting/needing to complete it early because the next component starts on the end date of the first one. And I have responsibilities for the second one. So please bow or curtsey from now on...😎. I also want a break between the two official ones, as that is when my internal exams happen!
I've picked up my happy pills and posted off my sample. Of marking, not a medical sample 🤣🤣🤣.
Pip didn't make it to dance, but I did make it to the gym. I did a really hard session and had wobbly legs and shoulders at the end. Result.

Yep, what foxholes said.  And well done on the wobbliness after exercise!  Now you need to do it again, as my ballet teacher used to say  :D

I had thought I'd do another workout today, and I'd kind of like to... but somehow I don't think I will.... I'm not even sure I could! Very stiff, despite lots of stretching! Yesterday, I was able to do lunges with a 15kg weight, which I have not been able to do for months, and I don't want to overdo it with my knees... And tomorrow it looks like I'll be on the buses/trotting for buses, so I'll be super active.
I've kept off the St JW. And plan to start the happy pills on Friday. The side effects list is scary enough to make me think twice about taking them. Eek.
Lots of marking has been done. And laundry x3. And uploading/submitting my marks (which showed me that I somehow skipped a couple of candidates - whoops) The system says I've 66/200 more to go...
I had a lie in until 6.30 today. Whoop whoop (not). So I got up and started the day. Dh went out from 9.15-12.45 and pip slept until 10.30 (but once we start the waking up process, they need a 'visit' every 15 mins, so it eats into doing things).

Dh was out by 5.45 today. I think him shutting the front door woke me. I'd had a bad night anyway, so my body was primed to be disturbed easily!!!
It seems that at work, they have written the ttble as if my subject is being taught by one person, as there are 5 days worth of classes. So, there will be no overlap with whoever the other teacher might be. And no idea if I'll have my y10 + 12 through to y11 + 13. I'm expecting to have shared classes too. For pity's sake - if they want me to go, they could just ask nicely... There has been so much cloak and dagger and secrecy about the ttble. Utterly stooooopid (which autocorrect suggests should be 'stool pigeon' :D ). But totally out of my hands. So there you go. And I might be maligning them wrongly (yeah, right...) and it'll be fab... (yeah, right...)
    Sigh.
But tomorrow I'm not at work, so I'll not think about it. Anyway, I have marking to do! And lunch out with a friend. And marking. And the gym. And marking. And the food shop. And marking. And school runs. And marking. And chauffeuring pip around. And marking. Not necessarily in that order, either...

I did this morning in a different order as pip needed more sleep. By missing p1, which was PE, they could have 2 1/2 hours more sleep, and also manage the rest of the day, seeing the senco and doing lamda. And they have decided not to go out tonight. I'm cheering silently! No evening chauffeuring required. Yay. And I can eat tea with dh. Yay.
I had a fab pizza lunch with friend, went to the card shop with her and then to the health shop where I finally found a gift for big sis. Phew. Then we snuck in a coffee and cake/biscuit.
Some marking has happened. System says 55 to go... I think it is lieing about 10 of those...

Pip had a chat with the senco today and I think was pleasantly surprised at how many things are going well. Yay! They are on the waiting list to see the counsellor at school, which is good to know. 18 more get ups...

That's a really important thing, isn't it - we lose our sense of proportion about doing well/needing change, I certainly do. Lovely that Pip took it on board, thats a winner.  So is 18 more get ups!
