I have done the last day of this 15 day C Ting challenge. Yay! But still only doing 2 of the 3 allocated workouts. Now I need to sort out what to do next... The good thing about CT is that they are all bodyweight workouts, so can come to the IOW with me. But I also want to do some kettlebell stuff, so need to come up with a cunning plan of integration...Got dd up reasonably early and we trotted off to the ch shop (and icyland + aldee, but they're not so interesting
) Spent £8 and got: white t-shirt for dd, pic for dd's room; exercise shorts, l/s tee-shirt hoodie, l/s burnt orange work top, nice blue tee-shirt and a bright cycling top all for me; and a very old (1970s?) lego 'set' (incomplete) for BIL. The lady there gave dd some ribbons for free, which she has already planned to use for syl fam clothing. Love a freebie!
On our way home, we bumped into our neighbour out for a run, and she was wearing the running legs I'd given her. Made me feel so pleasedI gave her 2 pairs cos they were just not big enough for me; but they are perfect on her. Yay!

The ponies have been picked up. Ponies of the my little sort; not big real live ones... So the 4 adswe posted on gumt have all gone and dd has some pennies to spend on books. Tomorrow I should aim to post adverts for 2 more items.I have a plan for the next 10 days as regards exercise. It is even written down...!Today I planned my y9 lessons to October half term. Go me.And painted a smidgen more of dd's room. Any more painting requires furniture to be moved...We've still not sorted the under the stairs cupboard! Firstly, the shelves we bought were much wider than the other ones and couldn't go on the one side because the bottom shelf sat too low and was right against the stop c o c k thingy. So they had to go on the other side. And therefore 2 feet didn't sit on the stoopid concrete slab in there and needed wood placing underneath them. Cue a trip to the loft to find suitable offcuts. Which then needed cutting to size... You get the picture...Then the light needed replacing. Let's just say that that took a while. But at least a Heath-Robinson-style contraption was avoided!Maybe tomorrow, eh...?NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

It's always how it goes, isn't it, apple! One thing to be done needs five things beforehand. Good luck today!

ZCUT kettlebell #4 done and it reduced my arms to jelly.Washing done and draped over the climbing frame.Counselling session completed - that's it until Sept now.Trying to plan a visit to bham to coincide with big sis so we can talk in person.Went through my drawer of trousers and tried them all on. They have been sorted into 'fit', 'nearly fit', and 'don't fit/don't like'. There are 7 pairs of trousers and 1 pair of shorts to go. And a rather large remaining pile still... Also gave my neighbour 2 more pairs of lycra legs yesterday.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

My 'bad' ankle from 3 months ago is now my 'good' ankle. Yep, I have managed to sprain the other one. Missed a step. Well, half missed it... and crunching was heard. D'oh. Didn't require hospital treatment and I was able to drive home - it happened at a friend's house where dd was for a garden playdate. Fortunately they had a bandage so strapping it up made the drive do-able. And safe. I wouldn't have done it if I wasn't sure I could brake safely!Up till that point, it was a cracking afternoon!Sigh.Anyhow, did some measuring this morning (no weighing, as wii needs more batteries)and have managed to lose a combined total of 4" from bust, under bust, waist, hip and thigh. Yay!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

Thank you XS. I am very glad that it is not nearly as bad as the other one was! It is bruising up nicely despite applications of frozen sweetcorn and arnica.I slept well and dh even brought me my first coffee of the day in bed, which was a rare event indeed, as I'm usually up first by at least an hour.He has also put about 90% of the stuff back under the stairs. Wow! But that does mean that there's not much being thrown...Dd had a playdate today at a schoolfriend's house. Their house is m a s s i v e and would hold about 5 the size of ours. And they have a m a s s i v e garden with pool. Anyhow, they are lovely people and dd had a fantastic time there. She is all tired out from it, which is a good thing.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4

Coffee in bed from your dh is a good thing, and so are lost inches (and a happy dd, come to that), but sorry to hear about the other ankle - crunching sound is never good

In order to combat obesity, junk food adverts will be banned until 9pm. Oooh, that'll make a difference... Like banning cigarette adverts caused a drop in tobacco sales...How about putting money in to bike lanes, subsidising gyms + pools, making healthy eating affordable and easy to do...And if you are over 50 and want to take up the offer of the flu jab, you may find a vet is the one wielding the needle!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!4
