Chloe Ting + Zuzka Light 5min w/outs completed. And a walk in the woods with some friends - only about 2 miles, but a good opportunity to catch up. Other than that, a quiet and lazy day.

DD won a £10 voucher for W st0nes but it hasn't arrived yet and she wanted to have a good look and get some ideas. Otherwise, yes, I would definitely have got my card out!!!

Hello apple!  I wanted to catch up after writing my update, but I can't seem to post on my own thread.  I *could* post on madvix's though, so if I can post on yours, and still can't post on mine after another go, I'll start another diary.  Maybe it was time anyway.
Congratulations to DD on the voucher, by the way!

Every child will have to return to school in Sept. If you don't send your child in, you will be fined. Sigh.
£1bn made available to fix crumbling schools. It's not a sudden, recent need. Lack of previous funding for maintenance caused this . It'll be spent on 50 schools. Only. Sigh.
There's no more help available for homeless people - back to being homeless again. Sigh.

    So, what can I do.
I can give my best for the children I teach.
I would love to own flats so that homeless people could stay there and get back on their feet. I don't. But there are organisations out there doing that, so my job is to support them.

Well June has just whizzed by. Plenty of nsds, plenty of exercise, plenty of reading. Very little spending.
Dd has arts week this week, which is a welcome break from all the serious learning. Both she and I break up on weds of next week - just 8 days away... That has come around so very fast...
Dd has a half day in sch on thurs, so I'll make the most of being out and go to sainz. And maybe the ch shops. And maybe icyland and aldee if the queues are reasonable... I know how to live...
July NST challenge has been set. It's quite hard to set challenges when we are all so restricted, but the camaraderie is good. I started using lists again in June after a couple of months of just not feeling like using them. So I may continue that into July. Minimal spending. Maximum exercise, meditation, reading: nourishment for the body, mind and soul.

There are 2 months until I go back to sch in sept. (Apart from a brief visit this coming monday). I have started a schedule for exercise, along with a (rather long) list of what I want to be able to do/not do. Like be able to sit cross legged on the floor, and then get up more elegantly than I do currently!
Today has been a good day for eating. Though I couldn't explain why is was successful and other days weren't...
I have spent some time this afternoon going through old 'fitness files' on my laptop, getting rid of a fair amount of rubbish. Still got quite a way to go though...
Dd completed her online/at home sports morning, so I was taking photos of her (required for proof of doing the event!) and timing her in between my own lessons. She did salsa this afternoon, and loved it.

After all that exercise, I expected to sleep like a log. As if! More like a tossed-about-on-the-waves twiglet. So today I feel quite ugh.
I have done my Chloe Ting workout (10 mins) and my Zuzka Light one (5 mins) and feel better for getting it done. The alternative of not doing them was not going to be good for the day.
Dd is also v tired, but it is Friday - yay! Lat day of school for the  week. Yay! She is speech writing (and recording) today about sports people being allowed to express their political opinions on the field. Or not. Cor, not easy on a tired Friday!
