It has been a good day.A good counselling session was had. Then I walked myself up to the build soc to pay in some money to dd's savings. I had started to feel so tied to the house as dd likes/wants me by her when she is doing her lessons. As the bs is only open 10-2, then it made it simple to go! I also scampered into icyland as there was no q, and discovered a new ch shop too. They are open 9-5, so tomorrow dd and I will walk up there during her PE lesson and drop some stuff off. And peruse their wares...I'd thought how daft people were, going to queue for hours to get into shops now that they are open. But the draw of the open charity shops as I walked along was very strong indeed...The boiler man has given us a start date of the 24th, so we have a fair amount of clearing to do, so that they can access what they need. I'm quite looking forward to clearing some stuff - I really hope it does actually leave the house... But for that, we really need to have the car back and functioning...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

How can it already be June 17th????? I'm still at the start of May in my head!Just had a chat with my dep head and in the conversation it was mentioned that we prob won't be back as 'usual' in Sept. Usual return would only be about 11 weeks away. We'll have to see what delights the govt spout...Hmm, 11 weeks gives me time to lose my lockdown love-handles... hopefully. I do not want to return to work looking like Mr Blobby...but I know that I do not work well to a fluid deadline. Oh I have so little self discipline!!!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Dd and I have been to the new ch shop. We dropped off some stuff and had a good ol' mooch. For £10 we got:-11 books (incl 2 hardback ones)-10 packets of seeds-a white tee for dh-a black exercise top for me-tartan jama trews for me to lounge about inIt was originally £12 but they only take cash and I only had a tenner so they said I could just pay that! Next time I'm there, I'll make sure it is the other way round, and I overpay them.Back to work now...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!5

I am so excired that I shall get to see my y10s in person in a few days! About 16 to be exact.Operation remove-the-squidge commences! Well it kind of started yesterday, to be truthful...I have been doing Chloe Ting's 2 week shred and today is day 13/14. There are between 2 and 4 workouts each day and, adding in my warm up and cool down, it can take up to an hour. Ooph. But I have enjoyed them once I've done the first one and got going. The glutton side of me is what needs taming... However, yesterday was good, so that's a start. We are going to town today. Dd has an eye appt and I hope to get my specs fitted properly. Liddle will get a visit, as will W1lk0. Hopefully the street market fabric man will be there too, as dd wants to make 2 dresses. Uh oh, that is very like our visit when I fell off the kerb and wrecked my ankle...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

I think we parked in the same spot as last time... But I made it safely in to the car this time.Dd had her eye test and chose new specs. I got my new specs adjusted so I should be able to wear them now without my ears hurting. We were in there for about 75mins (yawn) during which time dh went to the £shop, liddle, cex, m+s, wandered up and down the high street like a lost thing and eventually sat on a bench and waited for us.The fabric man was there and dd chose 2 sorts - she has found a free pattern online and wants to make a couple of dresses.Where were the queues? F00tl0cker. Pr1mark. And suchlike. Sigh. There was a homeless lady who I recognise outside f00tl0cker, so I gave her some money. Just seemed so wrong that people were queueing to spend £££ on a pair of footwear and she has nowhere to call home...NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!3

I have completed the Chloe Ting 2 week shred. Go me! Tomorrow I shall weigh and measure. And take photos... But I'll not be making a utube video like so many others... Just the thought makes me shudder!!!I've set up a plan for the coming week including a warm up + a CT w/out + a Zuzka Light 5mins w/out + a cool down. Daily. I'll never have this much time again. Well, until I retire. But that's not on the horizon for a good while yet...Busy-ish week coming up. Work, exercise, webinar, boiler stuff (clearing a lot of gubbins out to give access to the necessary areas of the house), dd doing school, taekwondo, dance, z00m, reclaiming a mended car, stuff to ch shop, collect dd's specs.Today I have mowed the front and back along with a little edge-weeding. I have worked out (took over an hour all-in!) We gave dh bfast in bed (on his own with tech, so he was happy!) I have handsewn a couple more masks that just need elastic now. And I have gotten dd to do her hwk - yay!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

So I did do weigh, measure + take photos. So that got that all done for a while.Started my new 'routine' of warm up + a CT workout + Zuzka Light 5 min w/out + cooldown. Not nearly as tough as the last 2 weeks, which may be a good thing. And I'll review it all after a week.Dh has done a load of clearing out today, as he is out tomorrow all day at work. He has done a marvellous job and we are all amazed at how much space there really is in the under the stairs cupboard and in the airing cupboard... We plan to sort it out/thin it out when it is time to put it all back...I've had a good go at making dd's first dress. First of all the bodice was far too short so i added a waistband. Then I realised that I didn't quite catch all the scrunched up fabric when attaching the skirt to the waistband. Then dd pointed out that that the skirt is see-through when the light is behind her, so an old thin pillowcase will become an underskirt/lining tomorrow. Dh did wonder why I was getting out the sewing machine and ironing board just when he is trying to clear space! It's because dd wants/needs the dress for a drama video she is making for school on Thurs.Right. Off to make us tea.NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2

Poor dh set his alarm clock for the wrong time, so he only got up when my alarm went at 6.10. He had to leave at 6.20. Yikes! So glad he is in the habit of prepping the night before as he only had to shave, dress, make his coffee and run out of the door. Then I started on today's allocation of workouts: warm up + Chloe Ting 12 min full body + ZWOW (random selection) #65 [this is extra as I felt yesterday's amount wasn't enough - though it was good 'easy' day] + Zuzka Light 5 min w/o + cool down + wash. Total exercising time = 33 mins. Ooph.Dd has a full day today; dh is out at work all day; as for me, well I have nothing official until 5pm. So I hope to make the most of the sunshine and be outside as once the boilermen are here I won't be doing that!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!2
