ZWOW 29 completed: 10 minute AMRAP:
    - 5 each pistol squat
    - 50 side jump (over something - I used a teddy as he didn't mind when I misjudged it and landed on him!)
    - 10 plank row with knee tuck (opposite limbs)
    - 10 burpee with 180 jump oversomething (I just did a high jump)

    = 3 rounds

Then I popped putside to do Jiggle free jump: 10 jump lunge, 10 press up, 10 sit up. It only took 1min06!

Dd is still snoozing on, dh is at work, all is peaceful.

    Today's tasks:
    - paint dd's room
    - collect some things off fb this evening (cmas/bday)
    - restore back bedroom to a study (didn't do it yesterday just in case sis, niece et al missed their last train home and had to come back here!)
    - finish the hearts I started yesterday to avoid doing birdies
    - potter on with said birdies
    - paint the landing while dd does her room - if I'm allowed!
    - 'help' dh make dd's new bed
    - post dd's old bed on fb again. Might as well. Maybe gt too.
    - keep moving and get 10k steps in!

In August, I shall return to putting £1 in a tin for every day that is a NSD, 10k steps, workout (jiggle doesn't count!), no sugar, 10 veg. Must keep track of it!

    A good day thus far!

Dd 'painted' one wall in her room. And I got 2 coats on the landing - it looks much nicer now! I also did half or the kitchen ceiling while dd played out.

The back bedroom is restored to a study, and bedding's been washed.

A few more hearts done, but no birdies yet!

Making dd's bed has been postponed as dh is worn out and I'm going out soon to collect a few bits.

Bed has been posted and sold! STC of course, but by 10.30am tomorrow we'll know. Result.

Steps are pitiful! Must find another 6000 by bedtime!!

Thanks, Alchemilla! I reckon I just have the knack of making a little seem a lot sometimes!

I think my 'get jobs done' mode has been turned to 'on'! :D

I didn't find the elusive steps yesterday - guess I wasn't looking very hard! I'd set a secret July target of 31,000 which I surpassed. That's only 10k per day, but hard to meet some days especially if we don't leave the house. And NSDs whilst on school hols are best achieved by not going out.

Not much on today's list. Plyometric jiggle free day2 is done - 10 squat jumps, 10 burpees, 10 russian twists. Peasy!

Have told dd we'll make pizza, so will dust down the bread machine for that.

    Must assemble her bed.

    Birdies. 'nough said.

Buy coffee. We have oodles of decaf, but minimal normal. This cannot continue! And cheese triangles. And milk whilst we're at it. Rest can wait til Tues.

Off to potter downstairs and hope 2nd bed lady appears... Due 10am...

Bed is gone and money put in Cmas/bday pot :T.

And the bed is nearly finished... Dd will definitely be sleeping there tonight. Well done dh!

I've had a wander out to buy coffee (phew!) and cheese triangles and milk, so got myself a few steps done.

Dough is scheduled to be made in an hour or so. Hope it works, trying out the gf recipe by hand instead of the bread machine.

Am having a well chillaxing day!

Pizza wasn't too successful. Edible but 'could do better'. But we enjoyed making it. And making a mess!

Dd is now trying to sleep in the new bed. And I get to sit on the floor. Hmmm. Imbalance of status here, methinks.

We've had a lovely day, and also booked a cottage for 2 weeks from now. My uncle is now in a hospice in deepest, darkest cornwall, so I'm planning to see him whilst on holiday - near Minehead, so much nearer than home. However, I'm well aware that he may not last that long. My sister and mum are going down in a couple of days and my sister's promised to tell me honestly if I need to go sooner. Dh has said we can all go, to share the driving and do it more easily if necessary.

But I wanted to book the cottage as it is a great cliff coastal location - beach, walks, rock scrambling, railway, castle... And I want us to have a family holiday.

I realise I will have spent nigh on £1100 just on accommodation this summer. Ouch! Just as well we've been saving as well as paying down the mortgage.

So, 2 weeks until we go away, then away for a week, then back for a few days then me and dd go up to mum's, then back home and a few more days before returning to work. Wow! So I guess I need to get that painting finished, ideally during the next week.

And crafting too, as not much'll get done while away.

With that in mind, in the next 12 days I'll aim to
    - paint the hall properly, even if only white.
    - paint the kitchen ceiling, 2 coats all over
    - craft zillions of items.... OK, so maybe 30? Gulp.
    - get dd's room sorted, with 2 biggish pieces of furniture in, to store all her books and clothes, minimum. Some games/toys too would be handy...
    - do jumping jiggle free daily
    - do 7 ZWOWs - gulp again!

Off to browse. And maybe play some patience on the tablet as I wait for dd to drop off. Plenty of patience...

ZWOW 32 done and dusted: 3x
-60 side hops over DB (did high knees as side hops and jumps aren't good for my knee)
    -10 chair tricep dips
    -10 broadjumps along exercise mat
    -5 DB thruster (10k total)
-10 russian twist with 5k DB
    = 7m40

Then jumping jiggle free of 20 jump lunge, 5 press up and 10 BW russian twist.

Have also done a colours wash and a whites is now in, to get it hung out before we nip off to church. Yes, we are going! Dh is already there, doing PA and there's a 'reduced' kids klub over the summer. So I should get to sit on my own! :D

2 birdies are complete. I repeat: 2 birdies are complete. All stitched up, wings stitched on and they have eyes! And I've found eyes for the little birdies too, which is good.

4 flowery hearts are cut out and pinned with their hangers, ready for sewing and stuffing and stitching up tomorrow.

So, today I have bagged another NSD. When I shopped yesterday, I paid by debit card - I usually pay by cash but didn't have enough. Afterwards, I mulled over getting more cash out. Then I thought that it may as well stay in the bank rather than in my purse. I used to fret when I had no notes and only coins. Now I no longer worry. Progress!

The furniture is back in dd's room so 'operation tidy up upstairs' is underway. All the books are back in there, as are many boxed games/toys. Her clothes need a good sort and cull, as they do not fit in the drawers she now has.

I have reached the conclusion that dd is a true Ferengi (sp?) - acquisition, acquisition, acquisition. She so does not like parting with anything!

We tried to go swimming today but discovered - on arrival - that the pool was closed due to too many chemicals getting in to the water overnight! That's a new one. So we'll try again tomorrow, but will phone them first.

We then popped into the one and only ch shop in that area (I know, I know, I could've made another NSD...) where dd got 2 teddies for 50p! A tatty teddy and a care bear, so both 'branded' teddies. And I got a toddler dress for £1.20 to use for crafting - it has lovely embroidery on it - and a dress for me for £3.20. Also acquired was a Littlest Pet Shop toy with several pets, to go away for Cmas, so £1.95 from the Cmas fund.

I'm writing down every single cs spend this month - what I got + price - after last month's whopper spend.

I've put 3 more items for sale online, and the next cs bag is filling up nicely.
