An inside day, apart from opening the door to the amzn delivery man... Oops.

Prepped more classes - think I've done them all now. Tomorrow there is time allocated to some online training, but I thought I'd get ahead and get it done and use the time for admin. Finished one but just couldn't get the other to load. Grr. Will try to do it early tomorrow at work...

Did another workout which was good, and I enjoyed my shower afterwards.

The amzn delivery man brought my needlefelting multi-needle-stabbing thingy, which was rather exciting. And a book about needlefelting birds, which is a really good book. So I'm v pleased with my purchases. :D

Up and at 'em. Was doing the online training soon after 7.30 this morning. Go me! It then freed me up later to do admin and sort put the risk assessment for when I go back after the op.

Realised recently that although I do have an umbilical hernia, it's the epigastric one they're operating on. Just as well I'm not a surgeon...!

Toddles off to read up on epigastric ones...

That sounds even more unpleasant :( I hope you're not in pain doing all this?

Not in pain, karma, more discomfort. For now...! Obv post-op will be a different kettle of fish. But it'll be ok.

Am trying to do some really tough workouts before the op, so that I feel good in myself, and can then focus on walking and moving about immediately afterwards.

Got dd's bday to sort out first...

Did another sainz shop using a voucher after dropping dd at school, then an aldee shop for a few bits (mainly I wanted some of the silicone oven gloves as our gloves are rather holey and you have to be careful when using them) on my way back from seeing my counselor.

Got another workout in - Wow! Booty Workout. Cor, it was toughie. Also weighed myself on the wiiUfit thingy and I'm less than last week, which is rather pleasing.

Had a call form the Leisure Centre re dd's swim classes - they have moved back 15 mins, which is great for us as we were rushing like headless chickens to get there in time.

I have been over-analysing the situation around my op next week. So form here on, that stops! I have to just go with it...

I feel like wonderwoman! :j (In a cape, of course...)

Not only did I do that tough w/out, but I also swam when dd had her swim lesson and I have done over 15k steps. Smug face is on :D. Though it may be missing tomorrow as the muscles realise what I've done to them and start a rebellion...

Dd had a decent day at sch after tears both last night and this morning. We had some strategies and she is trying to ignore a particular situation and focus on being with some nice girls.

The 6-week quest that I set myself, ooh, maybe 6 weeks ago :rotfl: has finished. I wanted to lose weight and get stronger. I am definitely stronger, but the weightloss was a non-starter as I didn't weigh myself! Twonk. I have had more sugar-free days than in a long time. I have got into the habit of drinking a lot more water, even though I was drinking a lot anyway. I have done some very tough workouts, but not done yoga-ish ones. I have meditated most days and done my PF stretches every single day.

What now? One more week of tough workouts. Then I may as well plan a 6-week recovery quest...

Wonder woman slipped on some mud on the pavement today and fell over. Ouch. And more ouches are appearing as time goes by, so I'll be having a bath later.

Although I didn't bounce elegantly, I do seem to have avoided all bruises. Surprising.

I have had a hair cut and it feels great. Cost me £52 mind, so it jolly well should feel good... Then topped up with petrol as the prices are all over the place, so I wanted to get the other half of the tank filled as cheaply as poss. Still cost £30.

And then I went to the gym. The brand spanking new gym that replaces the old gym. My monthly cost for membership is the same :j but now also includes classes (I think). Whether it does or not, the whole swimming experience is much improved and the gym is fab. It was rather funny watching all the peacocks or phone addicts there whilst I huffed and puffed away on a mat doing a sandbag Bodyrock workout (I couldn't manage the 400 reps that she did in 20 mins; but I managed a creditable 320 in 27 mins...) I have realised that I work myself much harder at the gym than at home. or at least I think I do. Maybe I just choose harder workouts...

I'll confess to buying some protein powder :rotfl:. From liddle. Strawberry flavour. Hmm. Not cheap. But I've read that extra protein helps with the healing process after an op, so for £15, I reckon I'm worth it...:D

I was out last night at a meeting, and only got home at 10.30. Ugh. But was still up at 6, go me.

Dh informs me that the mortgage is around 2K.:T. So I'll keep diverting those overpayments into dd's savings. Can't do it online, so it is rather hit and miss as I need to have her passbook with me when I remember that I want to do it!

I decided not to pop into sch today to collect my y11 mock papers. I'll prob not get them marked this weekend as it is much busier than I'd thought. Tomorrow we go to town to get dd's new specs, to pick up the shoes I ordered for mum, to visit primarni so dd can choose some things for her bday, to see if sainz has gf pizza bases, to pay some ££ into dd's savings. We'll prob end up taking our lunch as none of us are up for an early start! Then straight to dance classes. Then on Sunday we're at church followed by bringing 2 friends back for dd's party in the afternoon. And dd has an after-sch rehearsal until 6pm today, poor thing...

Enough wittering. Really, I'm just avoiding marking the speaking tests. I have started and done 3. I only have 9 in total. Procrastination and avoidance techniques are in high demand!
