Dd and I have been for a tramp up in the woods this morning. She succeeded in her mission to find as much mud as possible...

    Ooph.

Did a 10 minute Zuzana challenge this morning: 3 low jack + pike press + jump up. I did 51.:j

Then we hauled my bike out of the garage, gave it a quick once over and pumped up the tyres. And dd and I headed out for a 3 mile ride (each way) . Dh met us there, but he caught the bus! The ch shops yielded a book (50p), BNWT leggings for dd (£3), a much reduced cragh0pper fleece for dh (£2.25) and a replacement card cake stand for my stall (£1). We recovered a little in c0sta and headed back, with leaden legs, into the prevailing wind :rotfl:. But we made it back home :T. Eventually...

We're not going to look for Santa's sleigh this year, as it's too cloudy. And after today's exercise, I'm hoping to sleep soundly anyway. We're off fairly early in the morning to go to church and dd needs waking early enough to open some presents before we go!

Wishing you all a lovely day tomorrow x

    Merry Christmas!

Not that the biking did us much good! We all had trouble sleeping, even dh who'd not even cycled...

The alarm woke us at 7 and we had a fun start to the day with some present opening and breakfast (smoked salmon and scrambled egg) and then off to church. Sort of. The car wouldn't start! Dh thinks it did it last cmas too...which would imply some sort of conspiracy... Anyhow, dh somehow got it going - phew - so there was PA at church!

Lunch was steak - yum. And tea will be curried parsnip soup (mega thick, cos I don't do runny soup).

All presents have been opened and the senders noted down. Next task is the thank you notes...

I really like the idea of the 12 days of cmas, starting on dec 25th. So I abstained from eating rubbish before yesterday (and then it only amounted to 3 mince pies and a microwave gf syrup sponge cake and some dark choc) and feel good for it. Smug face is on :D.

And I did a bodyrock workout that has left me with hurting legs and butt muscles this morning. Zuzka did 3 rounds in 20 mins; I managed 2 in under 24 mins :rotfl:.

2 weeks left of my 6-week quest. The most consistent thing has been doing the pf stretches every single day, and I reckon I've got good results from it. My calf muscles are still really tight, but the under-the-foot pain has gone :D. And the 8 mins it takes to do is about 30 secs less than the coffee pot takes to brew my coffee. Perfect.

Very interesting about the under the foot pain going, good for you! Loving the sound of your curried soup, too.

Inspired by CathT and her running totals, I've just totalled cmas spends on presents and it comes to £406. Can't help but feel I've missed some things...
