ZCUT KB#8 all done and dusted before the rest of 'em surface: 20 each 1-arm KB swing; 5 each KB turkish get up; 20 each 1-arm KB swing; 20 KB goblet squat + press up; 2x 10 figure of 8 low squat + 10 jump squat; 10 each 1-arm KB swing; 10 goblet squat + press; 1x 10 figure of 8 low squat + 10 jump squat

Back door and front window open to make the most of the chillier air before the sun arrives. Tho dh will close them as soon as he ventures down the stairs...!

Got myself a little list of jobs to do today. i think i should always put 'make a list' as job number 1!

Off to wake the sleeping beauties. Otherwise tonight they won't want to go to bed... And this way, we get a few hours of peace and quiet before the neighbours surface...

Thank you so much, earthie! She keeps telling me how much she thinks she is going to enjoy being at secondary school, which is lovely.

She has a residential away for the first full week of term and the Head of Year has been so helpful about dd's allergies and the food issues she has. She has risen in my estimation from our first meeting last term... And dd is confident both in the centre they are going to and in the HOY. Phew! Though I'll prob still send her with a bagful of food items...

I return to work tomorrow. Ugh. For back-to-back training. My colleague got her dates wrong and only returns from her holiday tomorrow. Oops. I'm currently planning to attend tomorrow, as I have to, but only attend a part of Friday's training. Hopefully I can take copious notes for her, and she can do the same for me on Fri. The only thing being that there is some departmental stuff to do and I know that we'd both much prefer to get it done before teaching starts on Mon.

Anyhow, today has been v lazy. Took dd to a playdate and dh collected her. Did a liddle shop. Did some yoga on the wiifit. Got some washing out (and in again when the rain arrived!). Needlefelted an elephant. Sent a very important email and got a reply. Posted a couple of items on gumt. Started getting my brain in gear for tomorrow...

Unsurprisingly, I didn't sleep that well. But it was enough. Caught up with some friends, had some not-so-good training, had an awful lot of putting-away-in-the-right-place to do after the decorators 'put everything back' in my room (I shed tears of frustration at how much there was to do at times), did get some important paperwork completed which leaves just 1 document to do, and best of all my Head says that I don't need to go in tomorrow. Yippee!

Then I was unable to find my car key at the end of the day... Double checked my bag, all pockets, my bag again, pockets again. Then retraced my steps (and I'd been to many a place throughout the day!) And was resigned to having to get the bus home and return tomorrow with the spare keys. Or, even worse, to the thought of having dropped them by the car so it would be bye-bye-car time. But no! They'd been found and handed in to reception. Phew.

And now, I'm pooped! Not sure how I'll keep up doing a workout every day once I'm back properly. If I come home and sit down, that'll mean it doesn't happen, so I must go and change and just do it. As they say...

    Tomorrow?
-download files I emailed myself and save, print, etc
    -email colleague
    -workout
    -hoover back room
    -do my work stuff
-needlefelt whilst watching WSM or something similar

It isvery nice not to be at work today! Feels like a very cheeky day off.

I have done zwow#1, a toughie. My dive bombers were shallow and my pistol squats were shrimps. And 20 mins = 2 rounds + down to 6 squats instead of the prescribed 3 rounds. But I did it. And now have jelly legs!

I have also needle felted another elephant and watched the 1997 World's Strongest Man.

Am now involved in helping dd decide what to put in her pencil case. Who'da thought it could take soooo long...

I have also just done 20 mins of the aerobic stuff on the wii fit. Hula hooping and stepping.

But most of the rest of the day was sitting on my bum. Oops.

I did help move dd's bookcase into her new bedroom, after hoovering (an unheard of activity in this house - I usually warn the neighbours so that they don't worry about the strange noise emanating from here...), take her to a Youth BBQ at church (dh is collecting her as I type, I hope) and write up my class lists.

So the only thing from my list that wasn't done was downloading the files. Not bad.

Dh was up and out early today. I had to drag dd in to the land of the awake and we went in to town to buy clay for her friend's bday present as requested; socks for dd for when she goes away with posh school (she only has 4 pairs- apart from school socks -, as she goes barefoot so much. Make that 3.5 pairs as 1 hufflepuff sock is awol :rotfl:); thick red wool for me from the mkt, for needlefelting. We met up with dh and trundled home by 10.30. Result.

I have done zwow#2 - the improved version. Which means the harder, much harder version. I only did 20 mins and didn't even complete 2 rounds :rotfl:. I was supposed to do 3 rounds!

Downstairs has been swept and the rug washed. Rugby is being watched and a polar bear has been needle felted. Tis a good day!

It was a great summer greent. We loved it!

I huffed and puffed my way through zwow #3. The new and improved version. The ever-so-much-harder version. And I huffed and puffed all the way to the end. It took me 28m29. I then had to go outside and lie down on the grass to cool down!

Tomorrow's lunch is prepped. My pile of clothes (along with re-wonderwebbed trousers) is ready to wear. We have assembly and an admin lesson to start. I'm not officially attached to a form so am hoping to find a working photocopier, as none were functioning last week... Then 4 lessons and a duty.

Today we had a free lunch as church did a bbq for us all. Yummy. And a chance to catch up with friends.

Big sis is due to call, so I'd best make myself available...
