Feb: food spends v similar to Jan - dd's stuff was within £2 and ours was down ~£20.

I 'earned' £51 from awarding myself £1 for each NSD, sugar-free day or exercise session. And I spent £28 on myself (15 - shoes; 1.50 run legs; 1 - cords; 1 - tee shirt; 3 -padded jacket. 50p got me a fanrastic knitting book but 6 was rather wasted on 1-pot cooking)

I certainly didn't manage to run 28 miles in the month, but did complete 17 exercise sessions.

Headspace was done 26 times and my evening reading 24 times.

We have handed in the paperwork for dd to go to the posh school (only to be known as 'school' from Sept!)

Dd passed all her dance exams - tap, ballet and freestyle.

We have been to 2 school's productions - for free.

Dd has signed up to raise money for Save the Children.

We had a day in the sun in Lunnon with dd's friend.

We swam. I saw my counsellor. I saw mum. I stopped my physio because it was almost better.

Liddle have 20l of compost for 99p or 40l for 1.99 on Thurs 7 March. Thurs is my normal liddle visiting day on the way home from work, so I shall grab some. Costs will come from my £2 savings jar -an idea nicked from frugaldom from the 2008 4k thread.

And seeing how much I have spent on chocolate in Feb is a rather hair-raising sight. Lent starts next Weds.... It would be a biggie to give up. But it is probably therefore necessary...

Thanks karma. I keep hoping that she'll drop at least one of her classes, but I realise that I am hoping in vain!

Got the all clear from the dentist today. Phew. Not my favourite place.

Planted up the other 2 goosegogs this morning - just dug holes and put them in. They are very prickly plants!

Will endeavour to track all my food this month, in an effort to take control a little...

Went for a little run with dd today - the same route as last week, but without having to go back out to look for a dropped hat. She is even slower on her bike than I am at running, which suits me, as I fear that if she were to run, she'd be so far ahead...

Finally found out which school the council had allocated dd. I asked dh to log on this morning - as I'd had no text or email - and he found out. I did eventually get the same info in an email - at 13.06 today. We were supposed to be told yesterday 'from 5pm onwards', so I consider this to be appaling service... Not that it matters, as dd's not taking them up on their kind offer.

After dance, dd and I went round the ch shops in that area:
£4 of dd's money on an awesome H Potter pop-up book
£3.50 on some dungarees for dd
£2 on a Star Warz tshirt for dd
£2 on a dress for world book dress-up day for dd
£4 on some trousers that should fit mum, with her current more rotund figure
    £1 on 3 books - 1 for dd, 1 for me, 1 for a gift

The rest of the time has been very lazy, sitting reading... I assume that watching athletics doesn't actually raise the metabolism...

Tomorrow, dh is on PA and I'm on kids klub, so a busy morning. We are out to friends for lunch - I'm taking a 'school lunch' for dd as that is the simplest and least anxiety-inducing way for her.

And I must make some gf/df cakes for the cake sale on Mon.

We got back just before 5, having left the house at 8.30am. I don't do socialising v well, but especially not well after doing Kids Klub (where I managed to fall over during one of the games - ouch to my right knee, right wrist and right shoulder), and then discovering that there were at least a gazillion other people there too.

I am the grinch! And am being unfair.

They were totally happy for me to have taken a packed lunch for dd, and for her to sit upstairs on the landing to eat it whilst she rummaged through their piles of Syl fam stuff. She was allowed to take whatever she wanted! They had bought the 2 main dishes - 1 of which was gf (tho' they had to check the packets to remember which one!), an had even got gf/df ice creams for dd. They had a big 1kea bag of clothes for dd to look through (we brought them home with us). An their 3 girls (2, 3 and 4 years older than dd) all chatted happily with dd and me - a real testament to their parents.

And in the last hour, we have made dd's tea, she's done some hwk, we've hung up a wash, washed up and I get to sit down and read mse now. Yay!
