Dh got a massive tarpaulin from the loft and we arranged the delivery on there and folded it over and weighted it down with the pallet it came on plus some bricks. Hope that's enough with the gusting winds we're having...

Dd's teacher gave her a glowing report and said he would love a classful of her. Her recent test results are fantastic and she is well above expectations. Go dd!

This evening, we have now sorted out the 'grow-into' collection of footwear - she kept 2 pairs of converse and the other 6 or 7 pairs are in the charity bag. She is currently going through her jeans/ trousers/ leggings stash and has filled another half a bag. She is good at this!

Oooh, but it feels like Friday. But tomorrow is Friday. So I have an extra day!

Picked up the rest of their syl fam stuff from the friends who so generously let dd choose from it a few weeks ago. We have given them some money, which they weren't expecting. Dd is now like a pig in clover, going through it all. :rotfl:

She has a friend's bday tomorrow and has sorted out a building, family and a gazillion accessories for her. The friend is having a sleepover party tomorrow, straight from school, but dd has decided not to sleep there as she'll be so tired and not cope and get upset. So we'll collect her at 9 and return her there the following morning. I love that dd's friend's mum is so easy going and accommodating.

And the fence men are coming at 8 tomorrow. :j

Great report from school and well done with the decluttering! I started kondoing and then stopped as it was too rigid for me - like you a little at a time works best.

    Midday already!

The fence men are coming on Monday now, so dh will be around to sort that out.

This morning I decided to walk to the library - I've got into the habit of catching the bus as I can speed through errands and get the bus back within the hour, thus only using one 'fare'. But today I decided that there was no reason to rush, so shank's pony was put to use.

One library book returned. Icyland and aldee visited and only on-list items bought. But they were heavy, so I caved in and caught the bus for the 4 stops back. I'd bought chicken drums to bung a load in the slow cooker with a tin of toms, and end up with bones for broth. Got home. No toms. Brainwave - get the bus both ways along with the £2.76 change I had and get tins of toms and beans. 10 tins, 14p remaining from the change. Job done.

    And then...

I needed to bake the cupcakes for dd for later. On went the oven and in went 4 huge tatties in the bottom. Then cupcakes got made. Then paleo mayo. Then primal keto bread. And coleslaw. And the grotty greasy baking trays have all had a scrub down.

'Twill be lunch time soon. Am ready for it!

Just been for a late night stroll... To collect dd! She had changed her mind and wanted to sleep over, so we sorted that after school. Originally she was going to come home at 9, so she could sleep, and then go back in the morning.I guess we thought that they would get some sleep at some point, but at 11.30 I was woken (at least someone had some sleep!) And went to get her. Poor mite hasn't slept - the others must be a tough staying-up bunch. Luckily it's only a few mins walk away.

She is now having a pre-bed snack and a quick read. Currently she has no intention of going back there in the morning!

Just to say that it's really clammy out there. Or maybe that's just me...

I reckon I got to sleep again by 1.30. Ugh. And awake by 7 as dh had to go and open up.

So I did a workout - a Bodyrock one - that took me just over 20 mins, plus a 5 min finisher. Boy, was I a sweaty mess at the end. A long, warm shower is always special after that.

Dd surfaced around 8.45 and doesn't want to go back. Or to dance. So we may get to watch all 3 rugby matches...

I'm impressed with your commitment to exercising after so little sleep. I would be like the walking dead.

The weather is dreadful oop north so, after a quick dash to aldee we will be watching all the Rugby too :D Not so looking forward to watching DS play it tomorrow though if this weather continues.:(

Thank XSpender. It was one of the things that went running through my mind as I lay awake last night. My knee is rather swollen up again so I didn't want to run on it. I just did a hard w/o instead!!!

Dd has opted out of going to dance so the rugbyfest is on!

The fence men turned into the fence man. And he got 2/3 of the job done. There were some things that were more complicated than expected and therefore took longer. It should all be finished tomorrow...

Dd had some netball matches today and is now all worn out. Hope she sleeps well...

I need a plan of action for tomorrow. After dropping dd at school, I go to my counsellor and get back home around 11.30/midday. I have a parents evening tomorrow, from 4.45-7.30 (ugh) and will be travelling on the buses, so will prob need to leave by 3.30. But at least that means I should have steps aplenty registered on my f1tb1t tomorrow!

Anyhow, my brain can't think of a plan at the mo, so I'll sleep on it...

The fence is finished and it looks fab! Dh has done one tip run with the rubble and we filled the car to the gunwales.

I've done 10,000 steps already- helped by running between a few bus stops on the way home. So I'm now content to sit with mse and time team for a while.
